Is there any .gct editor that is efficient yet? My .gct file has selective brawl + codes, and I'd like to modify my CSS to include alloys without having to go through allllll the brawl + codes and pick out the ones I wanted again >_>.
Unfortunately no. It's best to use a .txt file and codemanager for organizing and remaking codes.

In the CSS screen, everything is there, BUT GKoopa and the Alloys are Random boxes and the game freeezes if I put the cursor over any of them. So my question is, what am I doing wrong?

EDIT: Another problem. In my CSS, Indiv PKMN are supposed to be under PKMN Trainer, BUT, they're only another Fox, Pikachu, and Kirby box. What now...

Mewtwo over Lucario

Alloys over the usual characters it uses. (IE Blue Alloy over Zelda's pic).

So basically, it's just standard replacement, though I've read somewhere that someone is attempting a code to allow the Alloy's to load a different picture... I do hope that turns out well.
How would I go about doing that?

I made a cool CSS based roughly on Maestro's and improved a bit.



On the whole, I grouped the characters by series vertically.

Yoshi was a bit of an odd one out so I stuck him near the Mario Bros like he usually does in the games. Mario Characters, DK Characters, Zelda Characters, Pokemon all neatly grouped vertically. Metroid Chars, Hal Characters (Kirby, Earthbound), Star Fox, Fire Emblem - pretty straightforward.

Now it gets a bit tricky. Captains together (both unique to their own games and not Retro Characters.)
Retro Characters IC, G+W, Pit and Third Party Characters (Sonic, Snake). R.O.B. doesn't actually have his own game so he gets a lone slot out wide.

I also have some little extra groupings which I thought add a nice touch.

Top row I have the Original SSB 64 characters. I considered having Ness up there, but I think those 7 epitomise the SSB Series.

Bottom row I did the opposite. All the characters are new to the SSB series.

I also have heavy characters only on the bottom 3 rows. And evil characters grouped. DK, Bowser, Ganondorf, Wario and Dedede, Wolf.

I always wanted Random in the middle and a symmetrical shape so I built the CSS around that.

heh, the secondary groupings are actually pretty impressive

and i would put dk-diddy-wario in the first column and throw yoshi at the bottom of the second, but thats just me
I saw yours with DK-Diddy-Wario and that was the thing I most wanted to change :laugh:

I dunno but the colors didn't look as nice to me like that and it screwed with a couple of my groupings so I changed it around. I like having nice corners as well. Yoshi, Mario, Luigi is a great corner and we have speed demons top right and evil characters bottom left.

What's the two-digit hex number that allows Zelda/Sheik to be chosen? All I see is "Zelda only" or "Sheik only"...

I don't use ZSS,so with the character remplacement code,I did:

Costume 0 of ZSS : Red Alloy
Costume 1 of ZSS : Blue Alloy
Costume 2 of ZSS : Yellow Alloy
Costume 3 of ZSS : Green Alloy
Costume 4 of ZSS : Giga Bowser
Costume 5 of ZSS : Warioman

And I just had to change the CPS of ZSS by new one

It's work fine
The only littles problems are
-Samus is selected after when you return to CSS
-When you choose your "special" character,it says "ZERO SUIT SAMUS" , it's not very important but if we could remove that...

The ZSS select case is remplaced by that (right botom corner)


Each 6 colors of ZSS is a new Character : Red Alloy,Blue Alloy,Yellow Alloy,Green Alloy ,Giga Bowser and Wario Man







In the SSS,they have their icon too

You know, i bet if we could edit .rel's.... we could have them as characters! Can someone upload the Character and stage select .rels?

no, just the icon.

supermasterhand, your code you released had a bug where it would load the new characters, reguardless if it was zamus or not, meaning you could not use alternate costumes at all. this code has been reworked to fix this:

will the giga bowser and company CSS hack on the last page work for PAL? can i change the gct file iin MH's download link to RSBP? also i hav a file patch code for pal to use.

Forreal! I have custom CSP's, but don't know how to get them to work on a custom CSS. help please?
Assuming custom_5.pac contains your custom CSPs...

Use brawlbox and extract char_bust_tex from common_5.pac. Now open the sc_selcharacter_en(the customSSS) and replace the char_bust_tex with the one extracted from common_5.pac. Common_5.pac is no longer needed.

Where can I find the PAL version of these codes? If there are none, then port them please from USA to PAL.

When I use the PAL Custom CSS code, then the button is not working Random (definitely not selected) and instead of Popo, Nana, Giga Bowser, Wario Man and Alloys (they are in the same row) is displayed and select the first Mario. How do I fix this?

Yeah I'm with S.O.N.I.C. Are any of the important crash-fix bugs (particularly the alloy ones) available in PAL? I'd love to be able to select the alloys without having to use the character modifier code AND not having them crash at the end of each battle.

Question. Does this completely remove ZSS from being playable? Or is it just for the the ZSS icon.
Kind of... If you use the old method of selecting Samus and holding Z or whatever it is, you become an alloy. If you final smash, you become ZSS... I'm not fond of this seeing as I main with ZSS :l.
