It's more of, my true self is very, very, feminine... To an extent that would scare my other friends. XD Plus with the one friend I can actually talk to her about things and rant and stuff, and you know, being trans is kind of a big part of me... Around the other friends I have to put up a persona, one I've recently realized... and one that I really don't like. I still try to be very much myself, but lately I've been realizing I really am not myself around them and it's bothering me... =/
well... hmm then the way I see it you have two options. You can decide for yourself whether your friends are important enough for you to ort of hide who you are for their sake. Or you can be yourself and pray that they accept you for that. I know that doesn't help much but... thnik about what you really want.
Talk about anything and everything, but make sure to fit in the word "gay" or "lesbian" or "transgender" or "Marth" into your post.
what abot shiek?

I wonder if I'm the only person who feels that the idea of 'on-topic' for a group and topic such as this is an idea doomed to failure... *shrugs* But ah well. We seem to be alright so far, gaying it up quite nicely. But I actually have a question to ask the gathered fellow sexual deviants I enjoy the company of so very very much.

In my experience, a lot of the'sexually diverse' people I hang out with (because we're being so PC with our title now, apparently) are very creative in various ways. I, for example, am a writer of science fiction and fantasy. I just love to create whole worlds and amazing people doing amazing things... or better, ordinary people doing amazing things. I find it liberating. I know people who write, who draw, even a couple photographers.

So, out of curiosity, who here has been molested by their muse?

And so there can be no confusion about the topic, I am a boy whole likes boys, I r teh ***gieness and I luvs it.

So I'm on-topic now. Anyone else enjoy getting creative in one form or another? We've seen recolours, and I love to write... who else here stretches their creative muscles?

I do.
I love to act, to write and to draw.
I'm seriously thinking about becoming an actor.
But I'm still thinking about it since it has a few disadvantages
Such as:
- Mostly not a great pay.
- Most likely you have to work on christmas
- In germany if you want to became an actor, you need a stamp from a actor school.
If you don't got that, you're worth ****.
- And you have to be able to take a lot of ****.
Because an american actor told me that mostly your boss will only tell you: " DO this, do That... BETTER!"
And if you do it perfect: "Okay lets go on to the next act..."
You need guts too...

You know, Luxferre, for a long time I wanted to be a radio presenter. I felt that I couldn't, that I didn't have the voice for it. I actually lisp (I know, I know, shut up), and while everyone says it's very faint, it's painfully obvious to me. Later, when I felt the urge to become an actor, my confidence was once again shot down by my voice.

You bring up a lot of good flaws with being an actor, heh heh, but I know I personally would still gladly go through all that crap for the sake of entertaining others. *shrugs and laughs* I'm broken like that. Still, if nothing else, I'm hoping that I'm able to get the novel I'm writing published. I've never been so enthused about a project before!

Except for the times I get writer's block, and I can't work on the story. Then I just write gay porn involving the characters. *shrugs and smirks*

EDIT: Yes, I am aware that means I'm writing a fanfic of my own story. *laughs*

Aw... Faora, don't give up on dreams because of something so trivial, most people think lisps are cute!(I know I do).

I...I always wanted to be in a play, and most recently, my Drama Teacher asked me if I waned to be in one, but she didn't have one, so I gave her my Idea, and we made it a reality!
If you want to know what the play was about, ask me, I was the one who wrote it.

Personally, I don't actually think that gays are inherently more creative than straights. I think it's just another stereotype forced onto us. Because most straights' way of thinking is "Hey if this guy is gay, then he must be good with fashion/hairdressing/decorating/etc. And sadly, I don't do any of those well. In fact, my straight friend has a freakin' beautiful house he just decorated, something I could never do. My apartment is just 50+ posters. :(

I know how to dress nice for myself and do my own hair, but if one of my girl friends ask me to help them out, I'm like .

I work at a professional theater-- but behind the scenes. :) You're right about the pay-- but honestly, no one in the business does it for the money. They do it because they have fun doing it. The paycheck is just a minor convenience.

- Most likely you have to work on christmas...
Not really... It depends on what kind of production you're in. If you're doing film, then you definitely don't. Stage, I've never actually heard of any sort of production running on Christmas day, unless it was a pageant. And pageants are generally community theater. But just supposing that it's not, it's still fun to act for the community on such a special day. You know what you're getting yourself into when you audition. No complaints.

- In germany if you want to became an actor, you need a stamp from a actor school.
If you don't got that, you're worth ****...
Pretty much the same in the US. I mean, you can get small roles, and if you're extremely talented, you can work your way up-- but if you seriously want to make it a career, you need to become an Equity actor-- which costs tonsa money and time spend acting for large theater companies. And if you feel as if you're talented enough to not need an equity card, I'd still recommend it, since equity members are required to be paid more.

- And you have to be able to take a lot of ****.
Because an american actor told me that mostly your boss will only tell you: " DO this, do That... BETTER!"

Of course. Like any job in the entire world, if you're not working hard at perfecting it, you'd might as well not do it at all.

Theater is a fun job. I get paid doing what I'd usually do for free. I'm actually auditioning for the company next summer, instead of sleeping through the auditions. :(

The thing is, even if I decided to to leave them, I still would not be able to be myself. I'd just be two friends shorter. I have no support from my family or anybody else other than that one friend.

And of course I'm creative! I always have been... I've always liked drawing, and music. (I didn't start playing the bassoon until November of 2006, though...) I also, within the last two years, have taken a liking to making things like signatures... I made my own. I used to have a shop on another forum, but I realized my products weren't good enough so I stopped.

EDIT: Why was transgender taken out of the title? o_O Am I not allowed here anymore? >_>

The problems is if I want a familie one day, how should I be able to support that with no money?
I know that if I do that, that I have to be really into it. So I just need time to make a decision.

Heh, then you'd not mind me speaking. But it's really alright, because I don't know that I'd have the time and inclination to write if I was busy acting or presenting on the radio. I don't mind not doing the things I wanted to do 'when I grow up' if it means I can express myself in another, different way. I love to write, heh heh, and if I can turn it into a career instead of just being a starving artist, I'll be bloody stoked.

aww well.. that sucks... you're just a flower stuck in soil where ya can't bloom. just.. I dunno. you've got two choices again. wait for the soil to change or change where you're planted... but I assume you WANT to stay with your family so it'll be difficult at least until adulthood.

Thanks Blink, respect coming from you means a lot. My following reply responds back to Faora's statements a few pages back.

I'm a songwriter/lyricist and I can draw. The thing is I have jack-of-all-trades syndrome. I can do anything decently but I've never been passionate about it. That changed when I found myself and realized psychology was my calling. I would also like to be somewhat involved with the music industry. I love creating things and writing was an outlet for me to express myself. Heck, right now, typing is giving me so much freedom. Ideas are a torrent in my head, so indeed, my muse won't stop harrassing me.

Here's a song I wrote. I post some songs of mine on my myspace. I don't put the arrangements but I put the lyrics, because even though a song can be beautiful without words, adding words (that fit) truly make it more sentimental. (I better not see anyone here take my lyrics and say its their own. I've copywritten them as a guarantee. ;p) I hope you guys enjoy it. (O, before I forget, Marth's new look in Fire Emblem DS makes him look so masculine. It's a turn on. And regarding the few pages after pouring my heart out, I consider bisexuality just as much as misunderstood as homosexuality. I don't want to go into more about it for that's what the debate hall is for. Personally, I think it all depends on what a person chooses [whether as their choice or given into peer pressure] and wants to live life as the way they see fit. Nothing less, nothing more.

Title: Equal Was An Option Not Given, But Attained

[Verse 1]:
I know the person you are
And I can see past your guard
Please understand, that not all, comprehend
In my name, I'm your defense.

We were all born equally
And we are all human beings,
But unfairness, our authority
I'd give it all for your gaiety.

[Chorus]:
With your harlequin-like skin
Feared by all as a born out sin.
So sympathetic as to speak, But I would always let you know I'm here.

For those fools who laugh right now.
Just ignorant bliss surrounds.
I'd do all I possibly can, To let you know that I'm your guiding hand.

[Verse 2]:
Rumors and gossip, they hurt
The taunts and secrets, injure
But don't let that, get you down, keep on track
Make sure your spirits intact.

Those critics can just fall dead.
The misery is their beds.
What they have made, they will have to lay.
So know always, no more tears today.

[Chorus]

[Bridge]:
And I apologize
I can't fend them off all times.
Bias runs in their insides.
The battles may be theirs
But don't give up the war since
Struggles make us rise and shine.

[Chorus]

For those fools who laugh right now
Just ignorant bliss surrounds
I'd do all I possibly can, To let you know that I'm your guiding hand.

*I hope you guys enjoyed it. My song is suppose to be ambiguous and therefore, there are many meanings as to how it can be deciphered. That's the beauty of it though.

Firstly, I'd like to say those are some very nice lyrics you have there. I've not got a musical bone in my body, can't sing, can't dance, can't play any instruments, but I very much enjoy music. Those are words I'd not mind hearing sung.

Secondly, my muse has been like that lately, not shutting up. This is a marked change from what my muse is normally like, sitting about all smug and telling me that I should write something, and then wandering off after a kitten or butterfly. I wonder if I'm the only writer who has to beat their muse into submission sometimes, heh heh.

Also, Diabetic_Yoshi, I don't so much believe that gay people are more creative than straight people, heh heh. I think what I said got a little misinterpreted there. *chuckles* Just that I've noticed a few people here who have some creativity running through them, and I was curious to see what the people of the thread liked to create.

Anyway, gotta get back to work now. Main character's gotta defend his innocence against those who would execute him for the sins of his ancestors, and the muse is screaming at me to get to work again. *rubs the back of his head* I've only written a few thousand words today. She's such a slave-driver, that muse!

I think the Sheik reference was meant to be a joke.. You know, "Haha".

So how many of you have had creepy old guys hitting on you? I've had it happen a few times at clubs, and I currently have one who does it consistantly at work.

I know, I know, but still... GRAHHAGAHRHGAHRGA!!!

I dunno about old guys, but there's this kid at school I'm try to keep a distance from. He's funny and intelligent and all, but I'm not physically attracted to him and he's incredibly clingy. As in follow alongside me in the halls wherever I go kinda clingy. Apparently the answer, as my friends have told me, is to just tell him off - but that sounds rude...

Isn't that what you're supposed to expect at clubs? At work though... That's awfully strange.

Btw, thanks lumberheartwood.

wow... well at least someone has a sense of humor

and as for that... define "hit on" Because I've definitely been checked out by older men and women... but only actively hit on by the women... but... if you'd seen the women.. you'd have rather been hit on by men... gay or not... especially since I was 16 and they were EASILY late 40s... *shudders*

they invited me into their room to do unspeakable things... (fluffing pillows and obligatory cuddling... so it's not THAT bad but still creepy)

Of course I declined but I mean... uggh.

And yeah, I think gays are inherently more creative than us striaght people.I mean, many gays are flamboyant and artistic, and I know a lesbian who speaks 12 different languages fluently.

well I worked in a holiday inn when I was 16... and yes... I was 16 when this happened... which means I looked 12... After I brought them what was required of me (think it was a spare pillow and some towels or something) they proceded with the wierd and awkward.

and. I'm still pathetically hopeless in the dating scene... being flirted with by older people doesn't mean anything

Don't worry... It hasn't happened to me either... but perhaps that's for the best in my case. Everything becomes really awkward when transgendered, especially if they know. Like my friend, if I asked her out... wow... XD

LOL. I know a guy who is a late bloomer, well late is an understatement in that he's still pubescent looking and short XP. So I should probably imagine him to look 18 when he's 25. That's radical!!

Don't worry, you will look good for your age Hedgedawg after your 30s. Heck, you look pretty darn good now so I wonder what the people around you are smoking. ;)

My theory is that, once I reach 30, suddenly it'll all catch up with me and I'll look 87... but I'll have a few good years in my late 20s.

OMG, same here! Though the thing is I work retail, and I kind of force it to happen. I often get those soccer moms who hit on me, then every so often I get their closeted husbands that come in five minutes later and do the same! The funny thing is my manager noticed this uses it to his advantage. See, we're supposed to where these button-up shirts to work actually buttoned up, except in my case where he lets me wear it unbuttoned. The official excuse to corporate is I overheat too easily, the real reason is... sex sells! And it works, since I'm currently the top seller in my department on the west coast. And currently the most baited piece of meat to ever sell Wiis to desperate housewives (and husbands).

The whole situation is funny and depressing at the same time. I can't even go to work anymore without turning into a total s1ut. :(

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I wear a wifebeater under the button-up. I'm not that big of a skank. :p

See kids, it's stuff like this that got the thread closed last time. And no, sugar coating your spam with hints of gayness doesn't mean it's okay. Stay on topic!

I'm not trying to be a **** here, I just know how these forums work. It's comments like these that get the thread off topic, and eventually closed. I like these threads just as much as you guys, whether or not I join in on the cutesy conversations, and comment about how cute we all are.

Don't let this thread get as bad as the last one.

No, I'm joking. What you say is true, but believe it or not, it has been worse. But still, people, focus on teh gainess.

I see no depressing aspect of this story at all. Where is this retail store filled with hot Wii-selling guys located? I suddenly need another Wii.

Well, it is in Reno. But due to possible legal repercussions I cannot say which store (and I'm being serious here :(). All though... it does involve a certain toy company with a giraffe mascot *wink wink*. Speaking of which, I've got to go there in like five minutes.

Oh yeah, one gay thing per post= pandas are adorable! :)
