I just don't think his response of we already decided to play the game normally is an acceptable way to discredit a simple question I asked. I'm all for playing the game normally. I was all for it in Exten, I'm all for it like that in other games, I'm all for it now. Not trying to metagame here, but I'm just saying I expect setups to be balanced enough to be played legitimately which is how I always go about a game. My question was to see if anyone else wanted to perhaps go another route.

omni... why would you care if you are the guy to regularly get us out of the rvs. it isnt always you, thats an exaggeration, and i find it hard to believe you actually avoided trying to get out of the rvs in favor of working your meta. that whole post looks weird. if you think chibo didnt ask the right questions then why dont you ask the right ones?

past 3 games i've been in it has been me. i also didnt intentionally avoid trying to get us out of the rvs; just couldn't think of a way given this cast and everyone being pretty quiet

So why answer it first, why not withhold information with your question. By answering it first ot me it seems like you didn't really care about the answer at all. You just answered it to seem town, as if to say I have nothing to hide this is how I think the game should be played, the normal way, the town way.

Not like it really matters, everyone else is suspicious of either myself, or nothing at all but besides that the town has done a whole lot of jack ****. Tom has argued semantics. Steel has been AFK for 9 years comes in plops a vote down we'll see him next week. Omni hasn't done much but make a town list, complain about the RVS and plop a vote down on the first wagon he saw. CK has done... Hilt has done, nothing but stay neutral. Mini Mic has done nothing but say things that seem scummy, but apparently only to myself.

I'm not too good at being the first person to sort of jump us out of RVS, I don't know exactly what questions to ask. Normal ques like "who do you find scummy" and stuff make no sense since there's like no content in this game so far, and general questions won't help too much as we've all played mafia with each other plenty of times.

Why not ask the general questions then and see if something they say feels off on how their general persona would answer the question.

That's right I'm asking you to METAGAME. Me the man who hates metagaming is asking you to do it.

You know why? Because I think your whole "I don't know how to get us out of the RVS" is stupid and a cop out.

You didn't even ask Steel if his is Mini Mic dead yet thing a joke or not, by telling him to take an actual stance on the issue you know have presented him to options. Elaborate on why, or deny it and press him why he's content staying in the RVS.

You didn't ask anything, you asked questions that got us no where, answered them yourself and haven't done much else since.

actually, i questioned chibo's interpretation of my posts and placed a pressure vote on him for reassurance. i then questioned chibo's questions because they seemed to be more fluff than an actual attempt to get out of rvs, however, i couldn't find him at fault since u were oo busy coming to conclusions that the only two people actually playing mafia was not a TvT with little to no basis. also everyone else was practically silent

so yes, you're missing everything.

The reason I said that was because in Omni's 94 he mentioned 5 of the 7 people (himself being 8) but not hilt and tom.

in fact looking at the two lists together, I'm surprised he doesn't want to see more from Tom considering he was weary of him.

You'll have to forgive me but I'm not huge on the whole 'mafia logic' thing. At the time you made this post (the one I'm quoting that is) there had basically just been a bunch of petty squabbles with no real solid evidence that could be used against anyone. You've been arguing over semantics with Kevin who has been playing like Kevin i.e. like a bull in a china shop so he's difficult to get a read on. CK has been inactive like Steel (thoughts below) and the other 3 have done a lot of talking with no real substance. At the moment I'm leaning CK and that's only because of his limited capacity to play rather than anything scummy he's said. And yes Kevin, I don't you don't like the whole thoughts on each player thing but saying it will help the mafia because it shows them where the town is leaning is ******** because I'm only one player, not the whole town and I'm not leaning anywhere.

and what do you think about steel.

When you made this post pretty much the only thing Steel had posted was 'is Mini Mic dead yet' so there wasn't really much to go on since he's just cruising. Since your post he's posted once more saying he thinks Chibo and Hilt are town without giving any reason before saying he doesn't like Kevin's posts. I don't necessarily think it's scummy but it's sure as hell lazy playing.

Just a quick thread check while I eat my breakfast. I'll try and post about stuff beyond Tom's post tonight but right now I have to do assignments and apply for graduate positions

@Mini Mic - My original vote on you was semi random and semi pressure since I've never played with you before I wanted to see how you would respond to it so early.

Basically I'm always an important role. The first 2 games I played I was mafia, the next one I was indie, the one after that I was the detective and the one after that I was the bodyguard, I wonder if I'm anything this time? hmmm. No, I'm saying cruising isn't necessarily dangerous so long as there are other people doing the same thing allowing you to blend in. Basically: can you justify lynching someone for coasting when there are 2 or 3 others doing the exact same thing.
