I played Melee a good bit recently; ever since that game came out I've played musical chairs with my main, including Kirby, Zelda, Link, Ness, Weegee, Ganon, and Captain Falcon. For the past couple of years it's been Dr. Mario in honor of being at Pharmacy School, haha.

For example, "LOL" wouldn't be enough to make a post, so people will add, "LOL 10 char." to lengthen it.

Basically, posts have to be a certain length in order to be posted on Smashboards.

"10 char." or any other variation allows people to post short / spammy posts (avoiding the length rule or whatever).

I'm not good with English so you might want someone else to explain. ^^;;

Don't get me wrong; America's great. It's not perfect and everywhere else has their flaws too.

English as a language is one of the hardest to learn because it has so many exceptions and rules for very specific situations. It also doesn't help that it isn't a Romance language; it's similar to German, but that's about it. And yeah, it sucks having to know all the conversions for pounds to kilograms or inches to centimeters and such, since everything in the medical world uses the metric system.

Now American needs Nobuyuki Hiyama and we're set.
