Its a long shot but I think Jill Valentine from Resident Evil would be a great addition. First off the game needs more chicks, and imagine how cool her stage would be. Plus they could use her moveset from Capcom VS. Marvel 2. Im not thinking its likely though. In any event if there is another 2nd party character, you can rest assured it is coming from Capcom. I mean Sonic is from Sega and Snake is from Konami. Capcom would be the final gem in the Crown of video game publishers. Its like Smash is trancending all mediums and will become the ultimate gaming experience.

Well, Im gonna have to agree with most and say its Megaman. I bet theyll make him like Kirby where he can steal peoples powers. So can you imagine a Kirby powered Megaman, or Megaman powered Kirby? I only hope they make him old school, you know like he was on the NES, but in 3D.

I'd love the main character from Phantom Dust for some reason, but he hasn't been on a nintendo system Mega Man would be a good bet have have many moves/music/stages to choose from. Can't really think of anyone else more than Mega Man though. Though I'd like a caster type character that could leave traps and things, though Snake will be a little like that.

I have to go with Megaman, since he is almost as popular as Sonic is. i would also (tad off-topic, my apologies) like to see either shadow, tails, or kunckles (sp?) as an assit trophy. if they are going to do the same thing with the sonic franchise as they did with snake's, then i think that the 2nd most popular sonic character will be an assit trophy.

In or truefulness I don't really care for 3rd parties. Sure, Sonic was a nice treat. . . but his games f***en suck (past the 2D times) and sega is running his name into the dirt (I really believe sega should just become 2nd party to Nintendo so that they could make atleast one home-run-hit 3D Sonic game with Nintendo's help. . .Brawl Sonic has more of a Sonic feel than Sonic in his newest games) and Japan is REALLY making it clear that they don't like sonic games any more with SonicRA selling 1,500 in it opening day.

Megaman. . . the only Megaman worth having in Brawl is the classic Megaman and I don't foresee him being in any new games. On one hand I feel that the newer MM would give the devs full range to go completely nuts with and make some off the wall type attacks but, on another hand, for some reason the series is soo. . . less than it use to be that the first MM is the only one that seems likely. I over all see Classic MegaMan as boring but thats the only one I think has any liekly hood of being in so I hope he turns out fun.

If there are any more 3rd parties I surly hope they are some WTF characters like Snake was. I want a 3rd arty character thats a corrent huge character with games that are not shells of their former glory. I want something like. . .Sora from KH. Appearing in brawl would be the cherry on top of the rumors and rumors and RUMORS (soo many rumors saying this) about a KH Wii title and this is a series that could greatly help Nintendo if they become closer to it.

Or maybe even that FFCC:Wii main character guy. He would be interesting (Wind powers). NightM from SC would be great. . . even Lloyd from ToS would be exciting. Hell, anything from a corrently big series that comes in with a cool, flashy move-set would be to my liking at this point.

And Bomberman shouldn't even be listed in the same sentence as Rayman and Pac-man. He's got twice the Nintendo credentials as Megaman himself. When all is said and done, he has a pretty good shot. At least compared to Sora / Rayman / Pac-man.

I have a feeling we'll see Pacman and maybe Bomberman. Even they can be assists, or mains.
Or even Geno can be an assist. In the long run Geno is an Nintendo character, they can have him as an assist.

Look at the Sin and Punishment assist this past week, that's a third party company that made that game, but Nintendo owns the rights to the series therefore they can include them however they like.

My money in on Megaman or Pacman though.
