Please explain what discussions we'd have that wouldn't involve targets being public? Because I can't think of any and it seems to be the only avenue of discussion we'd really have

Nowhere did I say or even imply that we should make our targets publicly known though.

I had considered something like that but I'm not sure if it's a good idea. It runs the risk of provoking an unnecessary Tracker claim.

You were the first to bring it up with a non-decided tone and the reason you brought up wasn't even the major reason we shouldn't do it, I feel justified putting you under the FOS for that

Now I feel double justified since you felt the need to backtrack from non-committal to being entirely against it

Tracking? Not sure what you mean by that. I'm worried that he "mixed up" Maven and Rake. That just seems weird to me.

On a reread I feel the only one who came off that way was Orbo. Gheb never said that we should discuss our targets, he said we should discuss whether we should use them in that way or not.

Is that actually the case though? I'm not sure. I really don't know. But I think it'd be better to have at least the glimpse of an idea on what to do even if it's very unspecific. Stuff like agreeing to not target player X or a specific player withholding on using the laser gun for whatever reason. I just wanted to encourage people to share their ideas on that kind of stuff. I don't really see why it should be an issue.

I'm not seeing much on the discussion between Gheb/Maven. Neither strike me as particularly scummy.
