As far as promotion on smashboards? I have no idea.

But outside of that, I've been told that putting up flyers at nearby apartment complexes, schools (when they're in session), and the venue itself draws in a lot of people, though you'll still have to keep bumping the topic a bit.

Seems like when the tourney dates come closer (1-2 weeks) the topics pick up with a lot more discussion though, since that's when people are more serious about showing up, getting rides, etc.

Manko- click your "User CP" button at the top of the boards, and there should be a "Group Memberships" link on the left side of that page. Just click to apply to the Tourney Director's group, and put a link to your tournament topic with results in the "why I want to join" text box.

And it could possibly take a while to get that name fix... The only 2 people who moderate the group are Gideon and McFox iirc, and neither of them have been very active lately.

Please use Fenrirs list of stages for this tournament.
Its going to end up being Florida Tourney Standard (with MAYBE a few exceptions).
If you could do that i'd be thankful.

ALSO anyone from SFL attending this?

This should have a good turnout, I'm going to hype it up locally as much as possible over the next couple weeks, just need more people from the boards if possible!

Well for one, I'll be pissed. I've had this listed for how long now? And even then I had to dig to find an open date


soooo if they change to the 16th, then I have no idea, because then this will probably have to be moved back ANOTHER month to get a clear date.
