Kuro:

Not a Puppet refers to a line that Dark Pit (or Kuro as the Japanese affectionately call him, which means Dark) says to Pit in Kid Icarus.

"At least I'm not a puppet like you!" ~ Dark Pit
or something along those lines.

Kuro means black, not dark.
Something that is black...
Technically can be used for something that is like black, which would be dark.
Move along folks, nothing to see here.

Dark Pit: Bring it, puppet!
Pit: Who are you calling a puppet?
Dark Pit: Palutena says "jump", you jump. She says "fight", you fight. Sounds like a very satisfying existence... for her, that is!
Pit: I have absolute faith in Lady Palutena!
Dark Pit: The Mirror of Truth doesn't lie. I'm a reflection of your true self. So maybe your faith in her isn't so absolute after all.
Pit: What would you know about faith, anyway, you treacherous blackheart!? Lady Palutena always guides me the right way! That's why I follow her. And that Mirror of Truth you mentioned? It's nothing more than a pane of lies! Pandora was just using it as bait!
Dark Pit: Seems I've touched a nerve. Methinks the puppet doth protest too much.
Pit: Oh, would you give it a rest, already?
Dark Pit: Okay, fine. Do whatever you want! Or rather... keep doing what she wants. But I, for one, refuse to be a puppet! These wings take me wherever I want to go!

I. ****ING. LOVE. THIS. GAME.

The next smash game better have a TON of KI:U content.

Starwave's mention about the game made me remind myself that Pandora reminded me of a quote she said that I should use if ppl keep asking questions (especially bout how to use Pit in Brawl):

"Do I look like a strategy guide?"

So many fun quotes from the game that I could use.

Speaking of which, about the JP suffixes again. Say I did teach others how to use Pit a bit or if they had questions about it a lot, or some situation similar, would I be more of "Admiral-Sama", Sempai (or was it with an "n" instead of m? I forget), or Sensei? It'd go good with something I had in mind. Hint to those who have played Chapter 5 in Uprising.

Well, if you'd be considered a teacher, sensei is most appropriate. Senpai is more if you're also in the process of learning the character. You can use m instead of n, but there is no way to write just an m in Japanese. Sama works as well, showing respect, but not saying anything about teaching or learning.

I used to Teach a few Pit users (or others who wanted to learn Pit) back in the day, but many of em just wanted to learn fancy stuff, didn't work quite well. If Sensei works, then sure. But I was told I can't give myself the suffix.

When the majority of things you say to me are cruel, you can't blame me for being defensive.

Yo so I never hung out in this board (probably because back when I was active most of the users here kinda of sucked barring a few exceptions) but you guys seem like cool folks, mind if I crash here a bit?

Kid Icarus Uprising is ****ing amazing btw. Pit's a total boss in that game (so far I have like 23/35 stages completed on lvl 9.0 intensity. **** HADES HEART!)

You surely have gotten further than I did Intensity-wise, but I'm still staying true to my Phosphora Bow atm, and speaking of which, Phosphora would make a cute couple with Pit, strange as it sounds, but I couldn't resist after that certain convo in her debut chatper. I'm sure you should know.

And please hang out, I got my own personal hot spring.

Aww yeah, there's always room for 2 ♪

Chapter 18 was a *****, and if it wasn't for that exploit (Magnus is immune to getting grabbed from strong arms while he's attacking) I wouldn't have even bothered.

Ornes scare me too much. I have this thing against either zombies or being instantly killed. I'm not certain what chapter I may go after next for 9.0, but maybe the Phoenix. I think adding each other may just be great.
