So I just finished my catch up.

I really, really like Joey's case on Gord and to a lesser extant Moth. Moth kinda reads a bit more as dumb town, but I can definitely see where Joey is coming from.

Gord does not seem town to me in the slightest. Everything about him seems off. His vote on me was forced and generic. As Joey pointed out, he seems more interested in painting someone as scum rather than actually find scum. The unvote of Ran was for a nonsensical reason. That, and the fact that he has, more or less, placed his two scum reads into only an "iffy about them" category reads false pressure. This is generally just not good looking for him at all.

Unless something drastic happens, then Gord is my lynch pick toDay.

Zen's 301 impressed me with reads I can agree with (with the exception of my read of course.) Still don't feel like he has done enough for a town read to be put on him though.

Ran can't be town due to general weirdness. REALLY sporadic reads and votes fail to impress. Still don't think him scummy for it though, just more anti-town.

Nothing's really changed with Fynal. Should do more.

Sword why is it that when you catch up, you go through one post at a time?

Having a tab open doesn't explain why you weren't viewing the thread, but then were viewing the thread after I posted.

My reads weren't sporadic and I didn't start the thing about Ran's claim. Swiss prompted my stance on it and J started the argument.

I'm going to reread looking at Gord tonight, sleep on it, and decide whether or not I vote him tomorrow morning.

ok, did a re-read of recent stuff and stuff, have a few things to say

ran - scummy all over, but people seem to be sort of agreeing with my concern that its normal for him. eh ran u no play bttr y. still not particularly excited about ran lynch.

zen - zen's recent play is bothering me. a D1 no lynch is a freaking awful idea when we have 2-3 scummies easy. He suggested no lynch while his vote was not on gord (but gord was a top scumpick), then went off attacking J for not posting fast enough, then voted gord with no new reason(s) or gord posts. I wouldn't be surprised to soon see him say the J attack was fake or something, given that he's retrospectively said his opinions were different than he posted before this game.
@zen: what made you vote gord in #368, instead of voting gord earlier or voting J?

smoth - not seeing the towniness. he's got this really early OMGUS on swiss when swiss votes/says he'll tunnel him. then moth suddenly switches said OMGUS to an OMGUS on me for attacking him, and never lists swiss as a scumpick again. He also never really attacked me either iirc. Ran is his least favorite here, but his later stated reason(here) is imo pretty garbage, it seems like he was just getting on ran because people were talking about ran lynch. I dont really like his initial ran vote either... seems like he was being told "no strong stance = scummy" so he voted ran to have a strong stance, the L-1 not being so much of a concern. also, as i said before, his two early IGMEOY posts when he could of said "null" just makes it look so much like he's trying to be ready to agree with anyone. I havn't seen anything recent that neutralizes this stuff in my mind. comfortable with moth lynch.

gord - scummyscum. #292 with the PR garbage, his fake vote on swords early game, blah blah stuff people already said. I don't see anything for me to add here. comfortable with gord lynch.



...was reading thru smoth's stuff, noticed something interesting at the start of the game:

now, by the 25 minute gap between the first statement and gord's posting that he didn't like swords, i assume there was no ninja. Gord made it damn obvious who he thought was scum before moth asked. Then, in the 2nd statement, Moth asks which of the two (ran, swords) gord wanted lynched and why. And yet, gord had been talking about swords the whole time, and ran was sorta an afterthought.

If moth actually wanted to question gord, why didn't he read gord's biggest post...? and why did he have to keep asking? In all honesty, it feels like early scum distancing to me. Gord+Moth as scumteam wouldn't surprise me.

I'll get to other people later. town vibes to some degree from everyone else currently. Except swiss whose a giant freaking question mark, but i doubt thatll change.

i don't see where in this post he explicitly says "i'm gonna try a new style this game". I do wonder, though, if in a hypothetical scum QT moth told gord he was gonna play a new style.

But not only does this imply that Gord is definitely town (despite having 4 votes on him) it implies that we haven't had adequate chances so far to figure out his alignment. I said I'd wait for the claim if he hasn't made it by morning. We're 10 pages in, you can't really say we haven't enough chances to get a good idea of his alignment.
And before you baww about how we're not sure, no ****. You can never be absolutely certain of someone's alignment.
