This will make my 4th tourney. And it's the 3rd time it's been a 45-second drive from my house.

Guys I lost. Olimar should not be in Super Smash Brothers, period.

1: beat a Mario 2-0

2: lost to Fino's Olimar 1-2 (won on Brinstar, lost on Halberd (neutral) and ****ing Corneria bull (his CP0

3: loser's bracket, lost to a G&W 0-2 (first game on Yoshi's Island was retardedly close...I would have won if I didn't suicide around 0% with Stone offstage...at least I got the KO from that.)
Second game was on Brinstar, it was close but G&W is too good.

I take back what I said about Kirby being able to beat G&W easily...this G&W wasn't particularly spectacular, but fairly good, and he still beat me. If I was playing one that played much smarter and used 'Bucket Braking' it wouldn't have been fun.

Even if I had gone farther, it would have been pointless...too many Diddy Kongs and Olimar at this tourney.

-All of G&W's aerials outprioritize Kirby
-All of G&W's tilts are really freaking good (well, downtilt is at least)
-All of G&W's smashes are, as you know, ludicrously good.
-Invincible recovery lolz

ROB camps. I don't mind camping, especially offline.
ROB's Fair is good.
ROB's spotdodge->dsmash is good. Don't fall for it.

I'm sure ROB's not easy, but I'd rather play him than G&W.

So I figure the reason I suck so bad at offline tourneys is because I never play anyone offline. The last time I played offline before today was November 23rd, which was at the last tourney (the one I went 2-2 at and placed 9th of 31)

So I searched for "Fort Wayne" (the city I'm going to college in) in the regional zones, and came across this post: http://www.smashboards.com/showpost.php?p=6307581&postcount=319

So there appear to be Fort Wayne smashers! I can finally play with someone!

Except..........I think they play Melee.

So it's possible that I will soon be representing Kirby in Melee more than Brawl.

Kirby is terrible in Melee, and I'm totally inexperienced in Melee. This will be fun :D

but you know, if I get good with Kirby in Melee and actually can do well, that will surely transfer over to Brawl skills, right? I mean, Legan was at this tourney today. I saw him beat a Meta Knight. Legan is one of the best Links in the world, and he doesn't even own a Wii. He says he mostly plays Link in Melee.

Yeah, G&W is the more annoying matchup, no doubt about it, but ROB sucks pretty hard too.
