I love 9, I just don't get the "it being the best in the series". I think I see that more as "it was underrated and eff the popular". But to each their own.

And personally, I just don't want a remake because FF7 had so much charm with all it's quirks and spelling errors. LOL! It's perfect the way it is :bee: plus...in regards to remakes I think they should only go about recreating the older ones (FF6 and below) which they have for some. Man...to have a FF6 remake would be a dream!

But now this thread is getting off track...

Yeah...when I meant remake I meant full out remake. Not port. xD I liked the DS version though, portable FFVI? Yes plz.

Count as a remake? Not really. I'll consider it a remake when they create full 3d models of the characters and the world, and the battle system etc.

Well at least we now know where KH2 Xehanort came to be

Major spoilers dur

Turns out that after Terra fought Vanitas and Master Xehonart at the same time, Vanitas managed to escape to go after Ven. Terra defeated Xehonart but then Xehonart stabbed himself in the heart with his own keyblad. His heart is then absored into Terra and he managed to take control of him. While Terra/Xehonart gloats, his (Terra) armor takes life as the Lingering Spirit (the superboss in Final Mix 2) and battle each other.

Wow. Ok so i know bbs story now. Look i love kh but its getting stupid now.


Major spoilers


EVERYONE IS SORA. NOMURA IS PROBABLY SORA.
We have Sora. He created a nobody called Roxas. Who has somebody who looks exactly like him called Ventus who existed 10 years ago. Ventus, who has another half to him called Vanitas. Who looks exactly like Sora except with black hair and golden eyes. Ventus' heart then enters Sora's, explaining why Roxas looks like Ventus. However, that doesn't explain why Sora looks like Vanitas, the OTHER side of Ventus that DIDN'T enter Sora.
When Sora lost his memories, a clone was created called Xion. Xion is connected to Sora and wants to BE Sora by absorbing his memories. We also had Data Sora from Coded who had 'the heart of Sora' but wasn't.``

First we had Terra who turned into Terranort after being possessed by Master Xehanort. Terranort then calls himself Xehanort after getting amnesia. He then calls himself Ansem after losing himself to darkness. After being split into a heartless and a nobody, Heartless calls himself Ansem, while Nobody calls himself Xemnas. However, he isn't the real Ansem, but was the apprentice of Ansem.


Riku. Lost his way to the darkness and got possessed by Ansem who was really Xehanort who was really Terranort. He fought off the darkness but then started using it willingly again. He then transformed to look like Ansem to fully embrace the darkness. Now Riku calls himself Ansem. Lost his Ansem form and called himself Riku again. We also have a clone of Riku that is aptly named Riku Replica.

ORIGINAL Ansem. Got his name copied a hell of alot so he called himself DiZ. Showed himself to be Ansem. Ate sea-salt ice-cream.

In conclusion. Too many Xehanorts. Too many Ansems. TOO MANY SORAS.

KH is just getting too insane now. I always need to lie down right after I try to figure out what the hell any of it means.

@Philly: So bloody true. I haven't finished Days yet, but I have a friend of mine who has and she basicially blabed all of the spoilers to me reguardless of if I wanted her to or not. And the plot twist with
Xion being connected to Sora
did not supprise me at all.

Kingdom Hearts is starting to become one big clustermuck in terms of it's extended story. Am I the only one who remembers back when it was about some kid going through Disney movies with Donald and Goofy beating up black things with a giant key? Watch, in about five years we're either going to need a reboot or several retcons in ordre to make sense of anything.

But seriously, the storyline went insane after the original, although CoM was better paced than the other games after the original.

Also...wasn't Namine created from Sora too...TECHNICALLY.

First it was a simple storyline, then it was more like Final Fantasy, then it got overcomplicated like Metal Gear, and now It's one huge clusterfork.

Can anyone even explain 358/2 Days or Birth By Sleep to me? Someone should really make a tl;dr edition of KH's entire plot. I'm just trying to follow all these connections to Sora and plot twists. I don't even get who Xehanort is. :dizzy:

How does Xion fit into all of this?

I still can't believe how idiotic Kairi was at the end of Kingdom Hearts to not jump over that tiny gap that seperated them both. That would have saved a lot of time during the second game.

I remember sitting there when I was seven or eight thinking, "Jump. Come on, jump. Why arn't you jumping!?"

Seriously, it would have saved so much time in the sequel.

To me Ansem is still the main badguy that you fight on the original game, not Richard Branson in a red cloak with bandages on his face.

Holy ****. The Xehanort reports really adds alot more to this game. I kinda take back what i said about the story getting stupid. Reading the reports and then watching the secret ending after knowing the stories of Terra/Aqua/Ven you really get a sense about how bigger the kh universe has expanded. KH3 should be nothing short of a classic.


Also the Xehanort reports reveal that i was technically wrong about the sora/ven/roxas connection. If anyone wants me to spoil them let me know!

SPOIL PLZ! I was a little disheartened before by the connection so if this is any sort of redemption, I def want to know ;D

As long as they expand Wonderland and put in either Sword in the Stone or Pinnochio worlds I don't care if they're KH as its most cliched and worst.

I can't get any of the stupid "international" (what a BS title for a japan exclusive) versions of squenix games cause I live in the states, But I want final mix really badly, also, the plot holes are becoming more and more apparent, unlike a ff game when each title is a franchise unto itself, the KH games are getting more and more contradictory with every game, I don't know what they will do to clear it up, probably pull some stunt like claiming each game has the same characters and world, but they're actually unrelated:confused:

That or Sora will just punch a hole through the space-time continuum like Super Man did in Final Crisis, thus reseting the timeline.

And I agree, "international" is a really bull**** thing to name a game that only one country gets.

Didn't like 358/2 much. Many problems with that one. Loved the second's gameplay but hated the story. And I just hated COM all together. So I think the original is still the best. Have yet to get my hands on BBS.

This. Series. Needs. To. End.

I was younger than Sora when the series began. Now I'm drastically older. I don't want to be playing Kingdom Hearts IV when I'm 30.
