Dynamo Cannon is a good weapon for trapping the opponent in tight quarters. It also has the benefit of occasionally paralyzing the opponent, which can come in handy in some senerios. However its range is somewhat limited and it fires slow shots that cannot bounce off walls.

I wouldn't recommend cannons for LvD at all, but they're amazing for FFA.

Also as much of a peer as MKDH is, he really needs to grab his emotions and keep them from making him look bad.

Bump-avoidance edit:

ggs Braxton. Hope you have fun using the rage to blaze through Fire Emblem. Let me add more fuel to that fire:

You were beaten solidly 3/5 by a bad Upperdasher, and died to a Mega Laser ;)

I like their standing charge shots, for some reason they aren't too much weaker but they charge much faster and have this really awkward, annoying momentum

Similar to eyetracks, except they can't be canceled (or else they'll explode) and have a higher spam rate with the standings. They CAN be made to OHKO, but I seem to kill more consistently by spamming standing charge shots which 2hko, and inflict freezing or something else to make the second shot easier to hit with.

Some of them (Fireworks iirc) seem to be able to hit through reflect barrier if just the explosion gets to it, and not the shell. As well as eat up bumblebee as near corners, they'll warp right back into the blast.

I applaud anyone who can use cannons. I really hate them in multi player.

I set it to up instead of the default down... kind of an easier transition between the control stick and d-pad for me.

I set it to up but I rarely use it (I run Warp/Bumblebee/PlayingDead in that order, so I can scroll to Bumblebee and have access to all three on the touchscreen).

And I don't use R. Tried to do that grip once, feels awkward.

When you're in a rut and try to click Playing Dead, watch in horror as the bar just scrolls to it instead of selecting.

EDIT: Oh wait that was you that posted. Okay still getting familiar with this place bear with me.

Here's the kicker: IIRC I was actually selecting PD at the time. If I had hit up I would have been fine. Naturally, I hit it on the touchscreen, and my stylus slips just enough to scroll powers.

Which is why left handed players have awesome controls. Use Y and A to scroll, while B activates.

Ran into more japanese players using +3 Homing and Range. Pretty much all you need to win anymore it seems is to get a weapon like that and use stat boost powers.

Going to start running Reflect Barrier in hopes of having at least some counter to stuff like that. :p

Those are old, truly frightening weapons are ones which can find a midway of the needed mods and some defense to not be OHKOd.

Example: A lot of players use homing boost. lv.4 even though they already have homing +3... They don't stack, so it's a bit of a waste for LvD matches.

Lol Adm. Pit whining about how i played in our matches, even though it was 2 human players against 1. both of which having some pretty great weapons.

Fight Fire with water.

Use their weapons and be better than them.

It's a shame that Shot Homing +3 and Shot Range +3 would make Lancer Staff the best thing in the game.

Continuous Shots actually bend slightly.
Standing Charge Shot becomes a heat seaker
Dash Charge Shots become Atlus Club shots.

Might just have to make one guys. If only one weapon, it will be my favorite.

Definitely not, they're pretty ridiculous but such a simplistic and straightforward strategy... I don't think it'll hold up against awkward of fast weapons.

Although they're definitely the best solo weapon imo

Best weapon for multi player will vary from person to person. For me, my best weapon is the Drill Arm.

A lot of people can easily argue against that, but what works for me is not gonna work for others as well.

All in all, it is up to personal preference in the end.

Played LvD randoms last night mainly on my Upperdash Arm. Came across a guy named Arch that ended up switching to Taurus Arm to counter me, so I switched to Eyetracks and he went Atlas, etc etc

I think he ended up using all of these:

Taurus
Atlas
Aurum Bow
Sagi
Flintlock
Eyetracks

For that hour, we were essentially rivals (I would switch between Eyetrack/Upperdash/Darkness) and our last match ended up being Eyetracks vs Eyetracks (with his perfectly crafted into a V:299 with Shot Homing, Dash Ch. Shot, and Shot Range). I'd say he was a slightly notch above me but we definitely targeted each other and switched around in hopes of countering one another. Was VERY fun.

Dash Charge shots hit for high damage.
Continuous Fire locks on rather than homes in.
Half second recharge of dash charge shots, after you are done with the full animation of shooting them.

fwd/side charge shots hit around 200+

back dash can hit between 300-400 and you can spam them.
I have an inkling standing cont. fire weapons might be better because they're cheaper on value and you can more easily go without hits but i think it'd be a little slow to abuse heart bonus properly? Might just be the point-getting idea.

Aurums are definitely going unchallenged for best solo weapon here though until i test it out... i do doubt it'll be dethroned though.

I think that'd be the Palutena Bow (based on what it says in the idol).

Also, no patches for Kid Icarus, since Project Sora is no more.

So I was looking through my weapons and I realized I have:

Pandora Claws
3.5/0
SR+3
SH+3
DCS+4

I isolated the Ranged Big Three mods on one weapon that can't really use them. I can't get them to carry over to anything useful (the occasional 100-value weapon will, but that would just make the problem worse by lowering the ranged stars). I don't have another 3DS to clone its gem.

How to proceed?

Just wait till you can pass them on.

1. Create weapon gem you wish to clone
2. Streetpass them
3. Move cartridge to other 3DS
4. Get gem

I think that's how it works.

That awkward moment when you're doing Chapter 10 on 9.0, and you're in Crisis Mode, and you think you're out of the Girin's shockwave range, but it triggers your in-peril autododge which puts you in the lava, killing you.

Le sigh.
