This tournament will start in a week after we have at least 16 people sign up.

Rules:

Double Elimination

You need to have either AIM or MSN. Preferably AIM. Post your IM service while signing up.

You need Project 64k and be able to host/join p2p.

Matches are best of 3

32 people maximum, to make it so that there are as minimum byes as possible

5 stock, 10 min Time limit

No excessively STALLING a match! If caught doing so, you will be asked to stop with a warning. If you continue to do so, you will forfeit the match.

Items OFF

Please, no excessive unplayable or game-changing lag. If lag is bad, you'll be given the chance to fix your lag. If you cannot, you'll forfeit your match, and if it remains bad, you'll be removed from the tournament. i.e. regular lag rules.

European smashers allowed, as long as they can host p2p or join p2p.

I think I have a much bigger chance of winning this than in a tournament with all characters with Superboom in. Maybe even as high as a 5% chance!

I like lower tier more than high tier anyway, so count me in for sure. There aren't really any **** match-ups between these two tiers, so I guess I vote to allow both B and C.

We usually have 4-5 frame delay with USA east coast, NOT THAT TERRIBLE

If and only If I go between 16 and 20 people....I will have to split up the euro and american...simply because 17 people is dumb.

that would mean Dandan and Nixxxon just face one another....or someone would have to drop to make it 16 people

Please, for the love of smash, do NOT do a puff only tournament. It is probably by far the most boring matchup in the game (imho)... and a full tournament of it would just be painful. Take it from a Puff main who has suffered through too many puff dittos...

Though Falcon only and DK only should be exciting

Disagree. Although falcon dittos are higher variance, there is still a lot of room for a skill gap.
