you can do quick rock without Bstick but it's a helluva lot harder.

I was talking about grounded Stone, because it comes out noticeably faster than in the air. I also use Stone point blank above my opponent sometimes, because it's a good mixup if you're tricksy like me :3
Even if it just hits their shield, there's usually enough pushback so that you can't really be punished. Plus, it wears shields down really well.

But yeah, just randomly using Grounded Stone against CPUs is hilarious.

I never new how much fun it was to troll match-up threads. People take match-up trolling much more seriously than when I give actual advice. >_>

I'm bummed because there's not another Smash tournament this weekend to go to (there was a Friday tournament last night). Now I don't have anything to do today ... except troll more match-ups :D :D :D

Gotta say, one of my favorite combos is (On BF, PS1, occasionally Lylat depending on how it's slanted) Dthrow>Utilt>Shield/regrab>Dthrow>Utilt>Usmash.

Dthrow>Utilt>Uair/Bair is another great one, and is guaranteed on almost the whole cast under 40% if buffered correctly.

Backwards Uair>Utilt>Bair is another good one under 40%, but I have more trouble setting that one up.

I use stone to punish people who charge smashes in an attempt to punish landings. It works on almost every character, unless they have a really fast smash.
Oh, and it hits if you break out of an IC CG and buffer stone. Mashing to the point of needing another controller now has taught me this XD

Wtf, Quick Rock w/o Bsticking is impossible.

>_> and reverseUSmash is hilarious. Dash>jumpcanceledreverseUSmash is now one of my favorite smashes.

☯ I Quick Stone without switching my C-Stick... but I can't seem to kill many people with it unless I play in Delfino Plaza or Battlefield in singles. In doubles it's easier to make use of Quick Stone, (except killing your partner). XD

An incredibly situational AT that is easier with B-sticking that allows you to get the grounded stone animation when you run off a ledge.

Also, any Kirby who B-sticks is an idiot IMO.

@alus: Shut up. It still works, kinda... Gotta get a new one soon though. Heh, Suyon throws his at walls, I mash like a madman; how the hell did mine die 1st?

A comedian called me gay because I haven't gone to a certain type of club.

Needless to say, I got burnt. x_______x

In other news, I ate a really sugary slice of cake today! :awesome:

Wow, I just figured out how to do the Quick Rock consistantly (without B-Sticking). It's so much easier if you use it while walking off the ledge rather than running off of it. I'll take this as a grain of rice. Thanks for the heads up guys.:bee:

Oh, alsp if you run at a slower speed it comes out easier as well. Run slower as in the run speed you need to run in place at a stages edge. I might throw this out in a match one day. This is kinda cool. ^_^

wait what, walking makes it easier? That funky thing where you just walk at the ledge helps? I'm going to have to test some stuff lol.

I don't get what's the point of that one for.:ohwell:

@RRR: Slow and steady wins the race. You can do it out of a Fox Trot you just have to be sensitive how far you tilt the stick before hitting the edge.

I demand someone find it and post it in this thread. It's actually kinda funny cause I watched some vids of people trying to do naner tricks and was trying to practice naner stuff yesterday, but I couldn't really figure anything good out by myself.

I have a feeling kirby is too floaty to do the single banana lock thing.

also i went to a tourney this weekend... mostly used fox, and did amazing with him, but lost pretty much every game with kirby o_o
and used Toon Link against Ice Climbers... and considering using TL against Diddy, since my Kirby always loses anyway.

What's happening to me?!

Kirby's Single Naner Lock: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AWB_7cRXNs8... A legit use for HUP CANCELLING!

In other news, I got internet back! But uhh, the situation is kinda complicated so I dunno about when I'll be active.

And I know what video motivated you, JoWii, hohoho! It was posted somewhere and I watched it for a bit and went ":O" on how awesome ZSS did.

To address Kewkky having internet in a complicated way I'll explain for him: He's hooked up with this guy who he finds dreamy, maybe something about his eyes or the way he holds Kewkky, and has started visiting said guy more often. Sometimes they spend days looking into each others eyes but, when Kewkky needs to blink, he finds the time to check smashboards and make sure all is well in the SWF-niverse. That about sum it up?

And yes that video is amazing. Leave it to the Japanese to spend time perfecting naner locks that are viable in a competitve scene. I wanna try perfecting a Kirby one.

Ok, an update. >_>.....it's actually not that hard? I mean, the timing needs to be perfect so Im sure this'll take a lot of practice but I just landed it like 4 times in a row for 18%?

Naner Lock inputs: FS>downThrowNaner>FFDAirHC which is easy enough?

Edit:I'm usiing CStick for both throwing the nana down and dairing to catch it. Also when I go to repeat, I jump @ Diddy but hold down a little towards the end to FF? >_> It makes it a bit harder but I'm landing it like he does in the video. Otherwise diddy may have time to get up when you jump at him, meaning you'll miss the FS.

Edit2: Then again if you FFDAirHC adequately it still leaves you enough time. And it helps if you DAir jussst close enough to Diddy so that when you go to FS all you have to do is roll the ctrl stick a bit.

Is it true that we only have to connect a downthrown nana in the air to start this up? Kinda seems that way but it may be stricter than I imagine. If it is though it would be awesome!

Mr. Kewkky, what does "sexy" mean? I haven't been through Health yet :( .

Tomorrow's my last day of school before Thanksgiving Break. Can't wait, especially since I only had 4 hours of sleep this morning. ^_^

Btw buffer your jump during the naner lock.

Edit: So I tried this against a CPU, a level 3,....suffice to say that while Kirby CAN naner lock, the likelihood of actually having someone sit there and take it? Nil. You'd have to be so frame perfect it's not even funny.
