Nice mang, for the Wii? I'll have to practice my classic controller skills. Even though I don't even have a classic controller. Though I did start playing GGX2 Reload on the Xbox first. So I think my controller skills won't be bad.
How much did you get AC for? I heard they have a new Sol in it or something. It's really fun, but like everyone else in the world I play Ky and Sol.
I'll have to pick it up sometime. On Wii, because PS2 can suck it.
BTW MvC2 scares me. Too fast, too furious. All I can do is jump in attack spamming.

apparently we got the sega emulator to work w/ mvc2? atleast davey did anyway...i hope he downloads 3rd strike so I can get into practice mode 
but we are still waiting on a new control stick cause the left one was sticking down last week after ya'll left...take it easy will yah? lol
btw home run contest? can't wait to tell lil' avey...

It was ps2, I wouldn't have any good controllers to mess around with on a Wii version. Plus with the stick I plan to get, it wouldn't be too cool to have a bunch of wii fighters lying around!

Tourney is this weekend, we leave friday night at around 6ish if all goes according to plan. We will probably stay at a hotel and split the cost, usually the hotels we pick out tend to be under $100 and we sneak all 6 or 8 or whatever of us in. Usually costs about $10 on average (give er take 5) per person.
Then there's the cost of the tournament itself, I'm not sure yet for this one but because it's a circuit tournament I assume $15 for singles entry and $15 a person for doubles? something like that...
Mostly tournament will be going on so don't expect to sit and play too many friendlies because they're hard to come by at these things.
Then there's the cost of food, however much you want to eat is however much you want to spend basically. Most people spend money at the gas stations and fast food places, sometimes we get a nice breakfeast prior to tournament which is a little more and don't forget food on the way back.
Lastly, there is gas money to account for, and as you know the price of gas isn't cheap. Split between people it ends up being okay but expect atleast $20 (could be more could be less, this is a small trip, 5 hours I think? so gas shouldn't be too bad).
Depending on when the tournament ends we may leave Saturday night or Sunday morning, but if you work, take off Sunday regardless, it's a ***** to have to leave when no one else wants to because SOMEONE didn't request off.

the UMKC tournament a while back did the same thing, same prizes in gift certificates to the plaza...we put em to good use tho You should go i'm sure you'll have fun anyway...but what do i know

No, clearly the man has other obligations or friends to attend to.
hey cool pepper we're only taking one car this time around and we have all the spots filled up. There should be another tourney before the end of the year plus a local UMKC that you can go to. We'll plan ahead for more people next time but I didn't expect anyone else to want to go. Until then practice them technicals!

So there was a tourney this weekend. Linkw00t doesn't keep up. The Linkw00t crowd came (Me and Chad) and there was no one there. So we ended up going to the porno store around there only to be glared at by a bunch of old men. No one told me that was a porno store filled with old homoz.
