There's this guy that me and friends all grew up with, but his mom dragged him off to Texas 2 years ago so we're all pitching in for gas and gonna go rescue him. Basically a road trip :D

GL driving to texas in the snow, driving back from overland park was gay enough. For some reason i find it easier to drive rear wheel drive cars in the snow >_>.

I have location issues, too. I can't even get to JCC like I thought =/

you have aim or cell number or somethin. I live in lawrence, love to smash sometime.
We usually have a car that drives down to JCCC every once a week, but it's closed until school starts again.

I'd love to smash sometime, too. I live in Lawrence myself, and tbh I've never really played competitively before, but I'm looking to start. Hope I don't suck xP
My phone's stuck in another room on a shared charger, so I'll post my number a little later on when I can actually look at it and not make a stupid mistake.
A couple of my group is thinking about attending NOKOAST too, so is Lawrence going to have a very good representation that we can practice with?

There's a tournament this weekend (the 9th) in des moines that we're going to go to. I have 3 extra seats in my car if any of you like to come. 5-way split on gas is a lot better than 2, lol.
It's about average size for a tournament, and about the same distance away as no koast. Might as well why we're on break ya? =D

I'm actually going back to school on the fourth, I'm still in High School. I hope this doesn't bother any of you *nodnod*

I also might look into the tournament, but practice is my priority first. ^^;

Mostly play melee at JCCC, but there's also a brawl or ssb64 set-up if there's enough interest.
I'll get danny in here to (hopefully) explain when we can start using the school again.

That's good that you live close. JCCC meetings are a fun time

Basically we just play Thursday nights from like 5pm to whenever. Right now like Fino said the meetings aren't happening b/c the campus is closed for break.

We'll let you know in this thread when they're started back up again, though.

The age range is actually surprisingly wide, 8bit and strongbad are like 16, we have a few other high schoolers, a bunch of college students and then some old farts like dmac and phat, who are in there 40s and have grandchildren.

Who's going, and what's the planned return time? I need to be at work on Sunday by 11 am, but I can go otherwise.

I haven't been keeping up with what's been going on with the weekly smash meetups not going over break and whatnot...

Edit: Oh yeah just an idea. There's this dodgeball thing every thursday night at KU that I kinda want to go to, but I'd still rather smash like way more. But in the future what do you guys think of meeting up on a Tuesday night at JCCC instead of Thursdays?
