if Ocean can make bracket, trashing some of the best MKs in the country I think Kie could make a fool of some of them too.

sure peach is garbage, but think of all the people that have never faced a peach even remotely that good

>people referring to Kie as a girl

.___. .....

Also Ocean did more than make bracket, 9th/400 is amazing (especially with ROB)

What's so hard to believe about it? This was the first time that Kie managed to take a set off 9Ba IC, their overall count in that matchup is like 4-1 in 9B's favor now.

No, she doesn't.

Kie has beaten 9B before, but a very very long time ago.

After seeing him beat 3 of Japan's best Snakes in a row, I'm confident that he will wreck people who don't know the matchup. He could make it far into winners' off of superior matchup knowledge, or even possibly favorable matchups against folks like ESAM, Vinnie, etc.

I can't believe how terrible some people are at estimating a player's capability. Kie would easily make it into the bracket at Apex. As a player he is insanely skilled and could beat almost every opponent just by his sheer capability of outplaying them.

Kie has beaten 9B before, but a very very long time ago.

It was 9B's DDD.

I don't know man. Peach has some bad matchups, especially MK. But a little ignorance and a bit of luck can let you go a long way when you are that skilled. I've seen great MKs that don't know the matchup vs a top Peach and they can still get absolutely slaughtered.

If anyone is trying to fund Kie coming to Apex, I'd definitely toss some money in for that.

On twitter they replied with: I do the participation in Tokyo in Smacom.Smacom is SNS site.http://t.co/Ls1kJjP74h

But as far as I know Americans can't get in because you need a Japanes phone/email. I'm asking if there's another way.

Edit: Apparently Silent Beast and nothing have accounts on smacom (the Japanese site you need to register in to participate in the Japanese tournament) so try to contact them if you can.

To avoid confusion: It is already the 27th in Tokio right now. The tourney will begin in about 5 hours I think.

YB vs. Shu, this is also L3.

YB got a shield break kill game 1, but lost in an ending I missed in the room switch.
G2 - Shu wins 2 stock 115% on SV

Kuroobi vs. Satan in L5 (Yes, that means Satan outplaced Brood. :smirk:)

G1 - on SF, Shu clutches it out with a risky BAir, 1 stock 111%.
G2 - on FD, Satan wins a solid 2 stock 152%.
G3 - this time on BF, Shu wins 1 stock 78% (BAir again!!).

Shu has slain the demon.
