I love Jazz as well. I'm a musician and I went through a "phase" a couple of years ago. I've listened to most of the material Duke, Count Basie, Miles Davis, Django Reinhardt, Parker, Gillespie, Coltrane, Joe Pass, Jim Hall, Sonny Rollins, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Julian Lage, Branford Marsalis, Bill Evans, all of the Gil Evans/Davis contributions, Art Blakey have ever recorded. Count Basie, Davis, and Sonny Rollins I'm 100% sure.Yeah, I love that ****. Only thing is that I put jazz above all else (having grown up with it + played a good deal), so sorry if that makes me some kind of music snob... just the fact that the composer of ****ing Symphony of the Night decided to make jazz was all I needed... now I don't even need porn whenever I want to rub one off.
But they gained $5,000 in just todaylol probably means 50,000 yen aka 500 bucks -_-
Everything you listed is god for me, but I definitely agree about the rock too.I love Jazz as well. I'm a musician and I went through a "phase" a couple of years ago. Having said that, I also love everything that has spawned out of rock from the 50s until now.
Also from the Romantic piano stuff, Chopin is my man.
I would love to hear some big band Smash tune arrangements, or even bebop. Some Progressive Rock/Metal stuff would also be awesome. People with decent recording equipment and $$, get on it!
Yo, get on that Charles Mingus. Also, Jaco Pastorius. So many bass players are god tier jazz band leaders.I love Jazz as well. I'm a musician and I went through a "phase" a couple of years ago. edit: Right after using your money to get Melee into EVO, of course.
Yeah there are tons of people that I didn't mention, but that's just because I haven't listened to their stuff as extensively as the people I did mention. I love Charles Mingus and all the hardbop stuff.Yo, get on that Charles Mingus. Also, Jaco Pastorius. So many bass players are god tier jazz band leaders.
Also, Rachmaninoff's piano preludes are obscenely good.
You should check out The One-Ups, if you haven't already. Not quite big band or bebop, but still great.I love Jazz as well. I'm a musician and I went through a "phase" a couple of years ago. Jaco Pastorius is really hard to miss haha. I listen to tons of jazz fusion too. Mahavishnu Orchestra anyone?
Giant Steps on FD. Mango vs M2K. Do it.Someone should do requests for hacked melee with jazz music for donations. I would put up some legit dollars to have Herbie Hancock or Miles Davis or any of those cats really playing on Dreamland or Battlefield lol.
