I liked Rogue Galaxy. Kinda random but I know everyones talking about the new Level 5 RPG coming out yet barely anyone has played Rogue Galaxy.

I love melee, and I love the Smash community... Just because I have a really weird sense of humor people can never tell whether I'm joking... Anyway, I could really care less about your "**** list", because you don't even know me, yet you judge me just because you hate Melee.

If any of you guys ever wanna chill/play melee, just pm/vm me, otherwise I'll probably not be on this thread at all...

Just laughing here that you came into this thread to talk about how much better Melee is and how its a "real" game and saying Greg is judging you because he hates Melee, but then you post about how you're quitting the thread because you've already judged everyone as "Brawl players."

Yet your most likely chance to play Melee with decent players is literally coming up in the next get-together, and you could've found out all this easily by reading. GGs dude.

MK9 is fun, I'm not saying I'd take it competitively or seriously, but I have more fun with MK9 due to it's simplicity and the fact that it feels the same as UMK3 than MVC3 with it's crazy learning curve and waiting for an assist to hit so you can chain your hits and less than average physics engine from the series as whole (when compared to MVC2 and especially (S)SFT2).

And I bet he knows but he's having fun with yallz. None of you have made much of a case for him to come, if a bunch of people were like "We all bad", would you want to show up somewhere further away with the same level of competition you could get in your home town, with no monetary compensation likely? If Joker would just say "Yo, I'm rusty but I bet I could take you down" I bet Zebra would come and have a good time and lose :0

It's just that it's a 2 hour drive and I don't want to make it unless a lot of people will play Melee with me...

if a bunch of people were like "We all bad", would you want to show up somewhere further away with the same level of competition you could get in your home town, with no monetary compensation likely? Brawl singles IMO, is better than melee singles so long as you aren't getting CG'd. For people talking about how gay brawl is, melee singles is just as gay and has more gay things (CC, ledge shield gimps) and you can play just as campy in brawl as in melee, and you get punished harder.

This made me laugh hard. Worst opinion I've seen in ages.

Edit: We're basically telling you how it goes down. Don't expect a celebratory day of Melee, but its unlikely you would go down there and not play it if you asked. As for how "good" people are, its all subjective so you can't really get **** from posts on swf.

Zebra, if you creep, people will play Melee with you. Chris and Greg play Melee. Joker plays sometimes. Twink will be there and he's pretty good. Rob would probably play games with you too, although he's actually here for Brawl usually. Yulai plays a little Melee. I used to play Melee a little bit too. You will have a decent variety of folks to play with, but don't expect a coast sized amount of people lol. We're the good ole Midwest, after all.

If you wanna get some decent practice in while you're here in Iowa, this might be one of the better times to come and game. Hope to see you there, bro.

So, to reiterate, I'm only kinda good and that's only if you consider the most recent tournament results, otherwise I'm bad. All I do is platform camp.

Tyser is amazing, if he shows up for 1 hour it's worth your time. Seriously.

If I'm in Iowa, I don't see why I would play melee since I get incredibly good melee practice in Nebraska, obviously I'd want to play Iowa in brawl since Tyser decided he wanted to kill the Nebraska brawl scene by refusing to play me no one is practice worthy in brawl in Nebraska.

tbh, JBM plays more brawl than I do, fact. He plays at work, but that's okay, he works in Iowa.

That all being said, I would and have gladly played melee against people at Jokers during brawl playing time. I spent about 40 minutes playing ScrubNBubbles and Jayford the last time I was there and I always enter melee tournaments.

That's cause the info on the front page is for my Monthly's which I haven't had one in a while but tomorrows biweekly is something I tend to do randomly like it's pretty much my way of getting Iowa some tourney practice along with NE which I guess now is only Rob >.<
With that said is mostly practice for Brawl since Melee is just play for fun around here.
