Dam Brawl+ interest looks epically fail right now. That list that Crismas linked to was pretty meager. Oh well, I think it's worth it for the bigger tournies if anything. I couldn't really see Brawl+ having mini tournies anyway since the community is pretty lazy + lacking.

Well, sorta. It's not so much the game itself as it is the lack of community/competition behind the game. Brawl+'s core community is the same as it was 6 months ago... and I honestly think it will remain just as stagnant.

The game is still fun; I'm just not confident in it becoming big... at all.

I feel the same way guru. Not enough hype. Plus I'm tired of how it's way too dynamic. Also, ness is a huge turn off unless they nerfed him. (I haven't touched/looked at the game since btl2 lol)

Well, in the newest test set Ness is apparently nerfed, but I can't confirm that.

But yeah man, not enough hype. :-(

EDIT: Is anyone planning to go to Pound 4 (which I'm assuming is the next B+ tournament)? I'll go if you guys go; I don't really care about the tournament itself, I just wanna go chill OoS, haha.

Basically, Ness' fair sends you away instead of directly above. It's still a great poke, but no where near as good for combos.

and i think you guys over estimate ness. I'd rather fight him than snake or Olimar.

What Brawl+ needs is a final code set that is official and won't be changed every 5 minutes. It was cool when it first came out because the idea was fresh and new, but then it was changed a billion times and people were like "wtf, **** this, lets just play Melee".

I think Brawl+ would've been more succesful had the developers released an official final release first, instead of releasing a flawed game and then updating it. People need consistancy.

I frankly have never had too much of a problem with RC1 Ness. Snake is probably the toughest char overall to play against for me, but I also love playing the matchup because I actually gotta think a bit when it comes to that character.

In other news, Jcaesar might hold a B+ tournament on January 9th at MD. Anyone interested in attending? I'll likely be going, cuz I love BWW.

I agree with this so much. but the truth is soo many of these changes were called for after extensive play testing by the community.

one example is finding out that jigglypuff can Dthrow > Rest fox at most percentages. that character gets combo'd harder than any other, even in normal brawl.. lol. If a few tweaks here and there make it so that BS doesn't happen. I think it's worth it.

the game is nearing a final version tho.

They knew about that from the beginning.
Back when fox was the best character in the game. They figured it balanced it out/too lazy to take it out because nobody complained about it.

The new new betas have the down throw that goes sideways more.

I applied but I was ignored. It's ok tho. I talk to Cape a lot and he's used quite a few of my ideas for the new beta that's being released on monday. I play tested earlier, it's soo balanced. And sooo many of the grab auto combos are gone. (including peach's )

Sheik, Samus, Pit, and Jigglypuff are chars to look out for. Meta and Fox will DIE!

I just had the most insane night in weeks.

Yesterday me and my friends went on a road trip to new paltz for my other friends birthday. We went to frat parties and stuffs.

I was mad sick at the pizzaria I was at and I stepped out to get some air and I vomited off the banister all over some chick. She came up to me like SERIOUSLY SERIOUSLY?
Me: It's just water!
Girl: IT'S NOT ****ING WATER IT CAME OUT OF YOUR MOUTH *******
Me: *Continues vomiting*

I haven't been able to stop laughing about it.
Best thing i've ever done.

In fact Friday is looking pretty good for a smashfest since I'll have absolutely no concerns academically by the end of this week.
