The 182 bus drops on the block of the venue. On Main St. If anything, you are across the street from it (drops you off on other side of the road). I'll team with you if Xio doesn't give me an answer before you do.

You'll be alright, everyone in the smash community is pretty cool. Once you get here, we can talk with your parents. Also these usually end around 10 but you can leave whenever you want.

No, he isn't in charge. Nobody really is. Inferno is the host of the event and has most say but everyone really helps out at tournaments.

You won't need your parents there. You'll be fine, and it'll be much easier to get to know people on your own. If you need someone there to reassure your parents or answer any of their questions I'd be glad to do so.

Like JG(AKA Phoenix) said they end around 10 or so but you can leave any time you want if you get eliminated. It may end a little earlier than 10 actually.

Friendlies are ok before it starts and as things are finishing up but if someone tells you to get off for a tournament match then you have to.

I have no idea what Fort Lee is like. I've never been there but as for crime, it really wont matter. You'll be in one place the whole time and there will be a ton of us. You have nothing to worry about at the venue.

I'm not sure what parking is like so Inferno or someone else will have to help with that.

There probably isn't much he can do around the area. If you stay the full time you will be there for like 10 hours or so. If you are less than an hour from the venue I'd suggest he just head back home or something.

I was a bit wrong anyway. The palasades mall is 20min north of this venue. You can spend the whole day in that place. It's crazy big and has like 4-5 floors. Imax is always fun too.

I'm gonna say that singles will end around 8 assuming things so in a fairly organized and quick manner. There can possibly be a side event though if you are able to stay

Two things:

1. Not a big fan of the attitude at the beginning. He is a very nice guy and he is trying to help. Although he is not hosting in any way, shape or form he has been to numerous tourneys and is a good person to seek advice from. Got your back JG.
2. As the host of the tourney, I will say that your parents don't need to stick around for your safety. The smash community are nice people and will not harm you in any way. My co-hosts and I will talk to your parents to reassure them that you will be in a safe environment. I know how parents are with being overly concerned because I have parents like that. I have made friends within the community and my parents are OK with me going to other tourneys. Also, there will be people over 18 here to ensure a safe env

As for friendlies, we plan to have 2 setups for friendlies during teams only. Of course you can play friendlies before the tourney begins. I advise you to do both singles and teams if you can. Just find a partner tomorrow at the venue. I've done that for most of the tournies I go to. I hope to start singles between 4 and 5. It won't start much later than 5.

There's parking on the streets which you have to pay the meter. You should see a parking lot for Verizon. Go through the lot (not public) and park on the street next you exit on. I've done that every time I checked out the place and it's always been fine.

You have absolutely nothing to worry about. My parents let me go to my first tourney at 14 (I'm 16 now) and there hasn't been a single problem at any tournament I've attended (60+). The community is very safe, trustworthy, and respectable.

Fort Lee is a good town. I would honestly be surprised if there were any sort of crime there. My stepdad's ex-wife has lived there for quite some time and it's a mix between the city and the suburbs. If you'd like, read up on Wikipedia about it, but it really is not a bad town at all. I'm sure your parents will approve of the neighborhood.

Ionly hae 40 under my name right now, and I dont get paid alot in my job, 10 bucks a day is what I get. I'm in training till the 18, then I start getting paid on a regular 7.25 and hour. I would if Pound was not around the corner. I really do wanna go though.
