But Jigglypuff's paired up with what seems like the main female lead of the game. So even though you don't play as the Girl with the Jigglypuff, the girl with the Jigglypuff is probably the next important character in the series. So its like Jigglypuff is the sidekick, which IMO is still fine with me.

Definatly. I personally love that matchup to death because I dual main Jiggs and Diddy. And if Diddy doesn't know how to deal with Jiggs, than he's ****ed srsly.
