To be fair, I enjoyed MLP before it became mainstream, but the fanbase absolutely ruined the experience for me.

My favorite is to be in front of the recovering person while also off level, and charging rollout towards the level as they get closer to you. Coincidentally, I do the same thing as Sonic sometimes.

The fanbase ruins the show for me on a daily basis. I deal with it because I'm not going to allow a few morons to decide what I do and don't enjoy.

And I wasn't playing bad either, I destroyed the guy's MK the round before on brinstar.

His Falco beat my Diddy because he was better with his character than I was with mine

but when it came to Jiggly vs Falco, he won because Falco ***** Jigglypuff. He respected Jigglypuff and zoned me out like I was playing Hulk in Marvel vs Capcom 3

Nair against Falco is an excellent choice as a spacing move. Shorthop-autocancelling nairs gives Falco very few options other than stay away and laser, it makes their game one-dimensional, and therefore predictable. And to reply to Jigglymaster, you mean to tell me you have to get in the air that early to punish Falco's sideB with a nair? Hell, its getting to the point where I can read the sideB's so well I can jump in almost perfect time with them and nair them just fine XD, I thought everybody else who had Falco practice was the same way!

Furries are in the same category for me as drag queens. Not against it by any means, hell I'm cool with them, just please don't hit on me.

EDIT: Also, I gave MLP a chance. It failed me miserably. It seems Adventure Time and Flapjack might be the closest we get to the cartoon days of old ;_;.

I can't even get into Adventure Time and Flapjack because the animation for those shows are incredibly horrendous.

If I can't enjoy seeing it, I can't enjoy watching it.

The humor was of similar standards to the shows of old, though (as outright weird as the base of the shows is). Look back on shows like Ed, Edd, n' Eddy, Doug, Kablam!, and Cow & Chicken (my faves). The feel to all the jokes in shows like those just isn't apparent anymore, and those two shows were the closest to capturing that level of funny. MLP just couldn't measure up.

Cuz MLP isnt mean to be stupid funny, which is what the shows you listed are. The characters/events are so stupid, dumb, and/or weird, that its funny. That wasnt the target audience they were looking for AT ALL.

That wasn't the standard for old cartoons, you know, you just feel that way because those are the ones you mostly watched

Nick had A LOT of popular standard cartoons as well around the same time.

The only show from the 80s and 90s that held to the same standard as Adventure Time and Flapjack was Ren and Stimpy.
R&S broke the leash that held that type of humor back. Then you got shows like Invader Zim, Cow and Chicken, etc.

My Little Pony: FiM actually adheres to a wider variety of elements from a wider variety of shows from the same time period.

Cow and Chicken is probably the most disturbing cartoon ever. The "humor" is just sick and disgusting and everything. I still liked the show though, that devil was way too ******** to ignore.

Then i guess the episode I watched of MLP was the WRONG one XD. Also, I never viewed those shows as stupid funny (except for Cow & Chicken, that show is MAD dumb). Ed, Edd, n' Eddy just had a dunce as one character, but the humor itself came mostly from the extravagance of their actions coming out of such a simple setting, a cul-de-sac full of kids. Doug, I can't remember anything stupid from that show except for some of Skeeter's shenanigans. I Am Weasel was just continuing the violent humor of the old Looney Tunes cartoons, and the dumb humor came from I R Baboon alone.

Ren and Stimpy was one of those shows that, as good as the jokes were, the drawing style of that show hurt my eyes . That show was probably tied with Beavis and Butthead for most controversial show before South Park came around.


EDIT: Strong Bad, I'd actually suggest the Peach boards on that one.
