Its terrible at my college. I can safely say that Most people I see suck in my opnion I can exploit them easily with mk. However they all love this one olimar player. Everytime he loses he is like you can only get away for half the crap you do only beacuse you play metaknight. His sidekick best friend plays Sonnic he is like since you have the tornado you can beat me. "Metaknight has to much priority" , "Metaknight is to good" , Last but not least there is a mario player who I think is the worst of the 3. Anyway basically the whole school praises them beacause they consider them to be so great. They got everyone calling me metagay. I swear it replaced my name. In school no matter how many times I correct people they constantly call me that. At first I was like whatever you can't beat metaknight. HAHA but now it gets on my last nervs I had this girl walk up to me and said I don't remeber your name but are you the metagay guy. WTF!!!! FAIL you do not want to be approached by a attractive girl and she calls you metagay. Its like rediclous I get called a teir hore and everything. Some people have me in there phones as metagay. Sometime when I play I throw matches just so it can look like he is beatable. We had a tournament at school. Alot of people did not show because I said I was going to play metaknight. What gets me Is I dont even consider myself a pro metaknight player. I am sure Dojo, Forte, M2k , Azen , True= and alot of players could probally beat my metaknight. I recently started playing marth. Just so people will play with me and stop calling me metagay. Then some people don't even like the fact that I am working on improving my marth ( who I played in melee) because they say I only chooose to play with high -teir charactors I don't know how to have fun. I don't know about you but I am one of those people that find winning fun.

Lmao, your college is full of scrubs. They're prolly the same ones that say "no edgeguarding, that's gay. Be a real man and let me recover."

Use who you want and defend your case. MK isn't unbeatable, they just suck.

In regards to that lol that is actually hilarious what happens I edgeguard so much that lol they ask me is it worth trying to come back on the stage. For the first time in my smash history sometimes I feel guilty edgeguarding like people see me at the ledge they are like I'm dead. When sometimes its possible that they have a chance to live. They just drop like they're spirits have been crushed or something. Its like the people I usually play with (when I am around home and what not and not at school). They edgeguard the crap out of you its a fight trying to get on the stage when your off and staying on when you get on.

I can't believe that a videogame dictates what people percieve you to be.
There is no point in talking to such people.
However, how do they call you something so much, no one knows your name? Do your friends call you that? Do your friends stand up for you? (If they don't that isn't really being a good friend)

Idk, just make a shirt that has your name in big bold letteres. Yeah, make it bright and noticeable, if you really want people to know.

One more thing, call those Olimar and Sonic users to a showdown. Try giving your MT a handicap against you, and a handicap in favor of them. (Maybe you should practice with hanicaps beforehand) If you win they might say, Oh MK is SO GOOD even with handicaps he is God Tier. However, hopefully this will show some of their "followers" that they just plain suck. Also, get some followers of their own. Don't just let this happen to you. Fight back. They don't rule your life, your name, your reputation. YOU DO.
Also, try doing other things that you like besides brawl so that you'd be known for that. IDK just tackle the situation head on, don't let it ruin your college experience.

Now here is the jacked up part about this. Yes its true some people do know my name. But they like still insist on using metagay instead. The olimar player, Sonnic & mario we were all friends but I mean at some point ya have to draw the line. As for calling everyone out I can call anyone out and know that I'll easily win its the olimar that concerns me. He is in my eyes really the only non scrub and again thats only because he goes to alot of tournament and plays very well. I have problems facing him when its a easy match up. HeHeHe but if I get his pikman @$$ off the stage that is it for him unless he grabs it super fast ... People are saying he's the best olimar in Maryland just because he has been placing at tournaments.

13lue2ain, if I were you, I would pick Meta Knight, and use nothing but Tornado for each and everything stock you fight them with, and DSmash for the kill. If they ask why you're being a cheap ***, tell them that you don't see the need to battle them seriously if they're too stupid to know how to battle Meta Knight, and too disrespectful to actually call you by name.

HAha that is a good idea. I know it will not work with the olimar player thou he is fully aware on how to fight metaknights. HAha but Forte's metaknight he complains about it all day.

Ok in all seriousness now: If you're wanting to go super competitive, isn't that something you want? People to end up going "Oh s***, its him" when they have to play you? I read something about being feared in tournaments, gives you the psychological advantage, like a scrub finding out he's gotta face Mew2king or something.

Lol that psychological advantage is real m2k has that effect. melee still brings back memories .

this is a win win for everyone. non-MK players have to deal with his broken, gay *** less, MK players win in that he will take longer to ban, and might even avoid it entirely, with something there to counter the allure of his power. MK hate is the best thing for all parties involved, even MK players.

Lol now see the thing about this that was so shocking was it caught me so off guard she does not even play smash know about smash but she came by a few times when I was playing. Its like there is this Lounge Area where anyone in the school can just go where we usually play smash so Anyone can walk past and see you in this blatant wide space. Thinking about that if she saw me in that context and people were not exactly saying my real name I guess I should not have been annoyed if she did not get the proper opportunity to know my actual name.

Now me with just my thoughts its rediclous the amount of bs you have to go through to play this guy its like so many people switch from playing other characters to play metaknight just to break under the pressure and go right back to the charactors they left to play metaknight. Everyone complains about metaknight but people that play him really don't get the respect they do from playing someone else. For example some people say "its not that your not good but you get more respect for being good playing someone else" my response from this is what the olimar player always says "If you don't get hit then the person can't win" So with that in mind you could beat the best metaknight player out there with anyone if you space properly and don't get hit. well the way i view it... coming from the pro ban side... he's here for now, i think he's too good this that and the third, but excuses don't win tournaments... therefore i play mk if my opponent picks mk ,or i practice the match up more so that my olimar can beat mk

and i don't take away anything if i lose to mk,cus when it comes down to it, i can choose him, i just hate the fact that it feels that the way to beat him is to be him :/

he over exaggerated, he's not that good lol... not saying he's bad, but two people just told me the other day they can beat his mk.... my olimar beats his mk consistently, and less then a week or two after i picked up mk, my mk was better then his mk... he's just trying to find a means of helping his smash self esteem
