Naw, he definitely wasn't LOL.I hear he was ****** Zhu in friendlies though.
HAHAH Okay, it's just what a certain midwest player told me. He will go unnamed.Naw, he definitely wasn't LOL.
He's very good though, but I don't think he's very interested in playing tournaments though.
Someone from the midwest would say something like that about friendlies >(HAHAH Okay, it's just what a certain midwest player told me. He will go unnamed.

LOLOLOL so true!or if you're throwing pennies at him
Is that a fact?People who like to be "correct" about things go out of their way to learn things properly and not be biased/ignorant.
no but i think its true for the most partIs that a fact?
Seems like an absolute to me!People who like to be "correct" about things go out of their way to learn things properly and not be biased/ignorant.
And I am questioning what they are taught!well, people often ditch those type of statements ("i think," "my opinion," etc) when writing b/c they are taught to write formally and formal writing/argumentation deems them colloquial.
Implied to whom? To the person saying it or to the person they are speaking to?it is implied that statements are opinions not facts
Again, to whom?it's being treated as such in this context.
The best way to make that understood? To clearly state as such! So thank you for doing so. =)but it should be understood that posts are opinions. in my opinion
it makes me feel good about myselfwhy do you like being right?
to the extent that you go out of your way to prove yourself right, i mean.
Can you not find other ways to feel good about yourself?it makes me feel good about myself
Are there more constructive ways to seek knowledge?and if i'm proven not right, then i just found new knowledge! sounds worthwhile to me!
Is pointing out how someone is wrong really challenging them? I seem to have challenged tarheel's statements without directly pointing out anything!life is more interesting if you challenge statements instead of accepting/ignoring them
if they get offended for being wrong, then it's a lesson they really need to learn! Can you not find other ways to feel good about yourself?
That is somewhat rhetorical, so I'll cut the bull****: of course you can! The question is why do you choose the easiest (or one of the easiest) ways to do that?
Also, have you ever thought how it may make other people feel? What if proving yourself right offends the other person? Would that affect how good it made you feel about yourself?
i'm not sure; it's not like correcting people on the internet is my only pursuit! Are there more constructive ways to seek knowledge?
it absolutely is! you're really pointing out how YOU PERCEIVE them to be wrong! maybe your perceptions are out of whack, and if so, you can only be corrected if you state them!Is pointing out how someone is wrong really challenging them? I seem to have challenged tarheel's statements without directly pointing out anything!
Only because you perceive it as sucking!this thread sucks now
