Smash Apprentice
They did a fantastic job of setting the scene, but the 2 player is a little awkward.

Well I was gunna say because no one else can, but I forgot if Ganandorf was actually talking to the Master Hand at that one scene or not.I just played Mario Kart 64, and realised something. If Mario and Luigi could talk in that game, how come they can't talk in the movies in SSE?
er.... If we had fewer cutscenes, we would be able to have one more character, methinks.I'm sure I'm not the only person on Smashboards that never really got into the Subspace Emissary.
Don't get me wrong, I don't hate it, it was good, just not all the way through. The boss battles are exciting, and the movies were amazing, I just wished there would be more of each.
I found myself becoming bored of the stages fairly fast; nothing really kept my attention besides a few interesting set pieces here and there. The Great maze, also, was far too long. I hated it, and in fact couldn't play through it in one sitting due to the monotony.
What do you all think?
Even so, I would have loved to hear "I'm-a Luigi, number one" for old times' sake.Well I was gunna say because no one else can, but I forgot if Ganandorf was actually talking to the Master Hand at that one scene or not.
LOL enough said the great maze is crazy long.Great maze = great gayness
I find it funny that I really really dont like brawl's gameplay but I LOVE sse, every bit of it. Mostly because I had been hoping for something EXACTLY like it since melee came out... and it seems most people who like brawl's gameplay over melee either hate or dont like sse.I'm sure I'm not the only person on Smashboards that never really got into the Subspace Emissary.

LMAO I was thinking the same. Especially during the forest levels.Anyone ever play maplestory? That's what the SSE reminded me strongest of.
...now that I think about it yeah.... Thats weird. =PAnyone ever play maplestory? That's what the SSE reminded me strongest of.
I actually got a couple examples what I want:3. Less "tedious" platforming or "repetitiveness". Also, when I say platforming, I simply mean the stages in general where you go from "Point A" to "Point B", fight a bunch of random enemies, repeat. I know "platforming" isn't the right word for it, but I don't know what else to call that besides maybe, dungeon crawling(which isn't correct either, unless it is).
Less platforming and instead, add in:
a. Events. Something similar to event matches.
For example, add objectives like "Protect Zelda from Ganondorf" or something like that, stuff similar the Event matches.
b. More boss battles, EPIC boss battles that is.
4. See number 1 - Yes, I want computer allies enough to mention it twice.
BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAnyone ever play maplestory? That's what the SSE reminded me strongest of.
You have to get every orange box and hidden trophy/CD to have 100%I did everything and enjoyed it, even the great maze! But for some reason when i completed it it was only on 88%
Yeah, but it's not like on Brawl you don't have to do classic, boss battles, homerun contest, targets 1, targets 2, 3, 4, 5, and 100 man Brawl with all 35/39 characters. They made the task much longer, but atleast all of the modes are pretty short.I'd take SSE over doing Melee's incredibly lame Adventure mode with all 25 characters any day.
Huh, kinnda reminds me of Wall-E...just not as good.I actually thought the story was interesting and told well, considering no one talked.
