:yoshi: Bringer and D1 suggested stuff like that, too.

I really wanna see them get creative with Yoshi this time. Like eating projectiles or stuff. Meh.

:yoshi: Nah, I'm fine with getting shot by lasers.

Samus's junk, Mario Bros' junk, all the big projectiles and solid objects are what I'm aiming for.

Falco can have his lasers, LOL. I'ma footstool jump that ***** so it's all good, ROFLLLLLLL.

:yoshi: **makes gestures to communicate while still holding his breath**

**wonders if Yoshi will be able to catch some solid-state projectiles and either gain a "power" or toss them back**

**thinks that would be super-hot and quite incredible**

**doesn't get paid until next Friday**

**gives a hearty HAR HAR to Falco&Victory**

**could secretly be Latino and just laughing because it's funny**

**but really isn't and is just taking up extra posting space**

I wonder if you can do different moves while Yoshi is supersaiyan. Like, are you forced to fly around fireballing or can you fake out the fireball and grab or something? Grab into fireball/fireball into d-air ownage combos. Think of the possibilities.

Maybe a move that helps yoshi more than it hurts him, so pretty much any move besides that **** egg rolling move

I don't see why they would take them out, they are in SSB.

Imagine jumping on someone's head into an edge egg!
Even if DJC in to an egg doesn't work it is a possibility that you won't have to DJC (this also means if you get hit away [like I do to D.J.Cat/ Bob] you will still have a second jump to return).

<.< I think Yoshi looks like he's doing jumping jacks when he taunts.

3 v 1 v 1?

What was this thread about, again?

:yoshi: Quick, someone should get us back on topic before this gets locked, hahaha.

I'd do it, but I'm terrible at that sort of thing.

Maybe I'll edit the first post to have comprehensive information about Yoshi's Brawl evolution, but then again, maybe not. Just posting here to point out the size of Yoshi's boot in the second picture of the update. Looks like nair gets even better.

I did it! I made a long and actually useful post! Check first post for speculation-mania!

:yoshi: Thanks to Bloshi, I've gone back to read the contents of this thread, and verily, it made my proverbial day.

Thank you Bloshi.

Also, thank you Technomancer for your post on the first page, ROFLLLL~

This is awesome! I put picture of brawl yoshi as my desktop (ok, its cartoony, but its so adoreble!). I think with his eggz, when u throw them it pushes u up a little or something. Also, i agree that yoshi needs a FASTER GRAB. Uber shield grabbing yoshi! :yoshi: :yoshi: :zelda:

:o Nice first post, you caught some stuff I didn't see there. The n-air is beastly now (well, more beastly), but the only times in Melee where someone's appendage got huge was usually in some kind of tilt. Does this mean it's no longer a sex kick? Or maybe it works like Sheik's d-air in that it's an attack that transitions into a sex kick, sort of.

On a second look at it, I think it's just a redesigned standing A, A; this time he jumps a little. It has the same kind of expanding appendage physique that Mario had in Melee (and a couple screens of Brawl). Also, Bowser seems to have that same effect in one of his debut screenshots; his claw grows with his attack.

I doubt they would reveal power shielding, since that's about as advanced as techniques get. Still, it's odd that he isn't flinching. It looks like there's a couple frames (or at least one) between the hits in Metaknight's A, A, A..., but that's supposed to be machine gun fast? So far as best as I can tell it's either Yoshi being a fatty or some kind of bug that they have yet to spot/fix.

And that's all I can remember from that first post D: It was a good one though :D

Oh, and I bet he's just turning around from a run in that second or third picture.

Mario's hand gets huge during his fair, as well as Yoshi's head during his. I never considered the possibility of an attack where he jumps up a little. That could indeed be what's happening here. Either way, growing appendages have happened throughout all the games, its pretty much smash's way of getting around the problem of giving small-limbed characters range. Its either that or creating broken-looking hitboxes, like Jigglypuff's aerials.

Supershielding is different from powershielding. Nobody knows about supershielding outside of Yoshi-board frequenters. Check Shiri's project Y.O.S.H.I. for information. I don't think that its either one though, because supershielding has the distinctive going in and out of shield motion, and powershielding has an additional special effect. I really have no idea what this is, because even if it were taken in between Meta-Knight's hits, it would still show Yoshi in some sort of stun (unless, as stated before, Meta-Knight sucks and his attacks don't give as much stun). I really think it's Yoshi being fat( at least I hope Yoshi is fat).

I hope Yoshi's n-air gets to be that big, that would honestly make my day, but it looks a lot like Mario's A, A, A from Melee.

Also, I know what supershielding is and how it's different from powershielding, I just messed up and said powershielding where I should have said supershielding. That's why I said it's about as advanced as techniques get for Yoshi. *goes back and edits it* <_<;;

The more I look at that Metaknight picture, the more I think that his A, A, A... isn't very effective *goes back and watches the Brawl video where he uses it*

It looks to me (from screen shots) that in brawl, many attacks cause the attacking body part to get bigger (moreso than in melee). This may be for programming reasons (making it easier to make the hitboxes correctly, not that i know about programming), or just for a more unique style. But if the hitbox for nair gets bigger, i will be a very happy man! :yoshi:

The non-flinching pic is probably Metaknight sucking (not really). Metaknight attacks like 10 times, and each is like a little hit, so ONE wouldn't make anyone flinch.
