that would be so cool eating falco lazer =P lolBringer and D1 suggested stuff like that, too.
I really wanna see them get creative with Yoshi this time. Like eating projectiles or stuff. Meh.
Quick say something else that would make Yoshi awesome! D: *points to final smash*Do you know what would make yoshi awesome? The ability to breathe flames
Even if DJC in to an egg doesn't work it is a possibility that you won't have to DJC (this also means if you get hit away [like I do to D.J.Cat/ Bob] you will still have a second jump to return).I don't see why they would take them out, they are in SSB.
Imagine jumping on someone's head into an edge egg!
1: You're an idiot andWhen yoshi taunts, he looks like lugia.
lol i see that. When yoshi taunts, he looks like lugia.
Mario's hand gets huge during his fair, as well as Yoshi's head during his. I never considered the possibility of an attack where he jumps up a little. That could indeed be what's happening here. Either way, growing appendages have happened throughout all the games, its pretty much smash's way of getting around the problem of giving small-limbed characters range. Its either that or creating broken-looking hitboxes, like Jigglypuff's aerials.:o Nice first post, you caught some stuff I didn't see there. The n-air is beastly now (well, more beastly), but the only times in Melee where someone's appendage got huge was usually in some kind of tilt. Does this mean it's no longer a sex kick? Or maybe it works like Sheik's d-air in that it's an attack that transitions into a sex kick, sort of.
On a second look at it, I think it's just a redesigned standing A, A; this time he jumps a little. It has the same kind of expanding appendage physique that Mario had in Melee (and a couple screens of Brawl). Also, Bowser seems to have that same effect in one of his debut screenshots; his claw grows with his attack.
Supershielding is different from powershielding. Nobody knows about supershielding outside of Yoshi-board frequenters. Check Shiri's project Y.O.S.H.I. for information. I don't think that its either one though, because supershielding has the distinctive going in and out of shield motion, and powershielding has an additional special effect. I really have no idea what this is, because even if it were taken in between Meta-Knight's hits, it would still show Yoshi in some sort of stun (unless, as stated before, Meta-Knight sucks and his attacks don't give as much stun). I really think it's Yoshi being fat( at least I hope Yoshi is fat).Winnar said:I doubt they would reveal power shielding, since that's about as advanced as techniques get. Still, it's odd that he isn't flinching. It looks like there's a couple frames (or at least one) between the hits in Metaknight's A, A, A..., but that's supposed to be machine gun fast? So far as best as I can tell it's either Yoshi being a fatty or some kind of bug that they have yet to spot/fix.
I hope Yoshi's n-air gets to be that big, that would honestly make my day, but it looks a lot like Mario's A, A, A from Melee.Mario's hand gets huge during his fair, as well as Yoshi's head during his.
