thanks man@ Aephage You played well vs. the Sheik up until those last two stocks on FoD. You got caught in your shield a lot and sheik punished you every time for trying to jump out of it. You didn't really DI any of her combos, so you took a lot of percent. You threw out dash attack when she was high up in the air, either those were mistakes or just poor decisions. I definitely think you should upair more to zone her out when she's in the air. Don't over commit with jumping because that's where Sheik wants you to be if you jump first. I believe if you react to her jumping and do a well spaced instant upair, you can stuff her aerial shenanigans. You also need to grab the ledge more when she is offstage.
I'd appreciate more of a breakdown on how you're doing it consistently, because I've practiced trying to do that in the past and I could never get myself to consistently turn around. I would either end up dashing in the other direction because I would hit the control stick too fast or too hard, or I would fall off the platform before I even turned around, or I would turn around but not have enough momentum to carry me off the platform. Should I just practice it more? I know what happens, I guess I gotta just feel it out, cause it's really cool that you can do stuff like that in a match.Has anyone else started doing this yet?

I really wish my recording **** didn't get messed up so I could break it down a little more for you guys, I've gotten fairly clean with it and the application is really fun.
Honestly, I've been doing this for over a year. I don't get it 100% of the time though. I use it on Battlefield a lot so I can cross up my aerials or grab ledge quicker. I mainly use moonwalk though.Has anyone else started doing this yet?

theyre all michigan players, so tm would probably know more.
Sasha is a MI pikachu player. He took 2nd place in an amateur bracket recently. He's alright but generally doesn't place well. Cool guy.
Les go
Have you ever heard of Fumbles before? I think he's from Ohio - he was in my pool at Big House and took the set, but it was pretty close. I'm wondering how this Sasha guy compares to him. Uair out of shield destroyed me that set tbh.Sasha is a MI pikachu player. He took 2nd place in an amateur bracket recently. He's alright but generally doesn't place well. Cool guy.
Don't know anyone else, sorry (which is probably good for you, lol)
Do you know that there's no "reverse hitbox". The direction the victim is sent at is determined by the relative positions of the central bones of the characters, i.e, if the opponent is in front of you he is sent forward. Since the reverse fair is the same move, it's kb is same as is it's kb angle. The range of it behind your back is very small compared to forward, so it's pointless to try to reverse fair unless you cannot turn, for example when you are on the ledge.so im putting some study time into reverse fair.
its got some pretty good knockback, but the reverse hitbox is ****. i dont really know where i could apply it though, maybe if someone is recovering higher above me?
oh wow, i didnt know this. ACTUALLY LEARNED SOMETHING TODAY. thanks man.Do you know that there's no "reverse hitbox". Reverse fair is amazing and really useful imo. Any time you can combo into a fair but you're facing toward the stage, reverse fair instead. It's pretty easy if you hit with the top hitbox.so im putting some study time into reverse fair.

Into combos of course, mix up their DI a little bit. =) I tried styling recently with reverse Fair edgeguard but i failed everytime, the hitbox just doesnt work out that well that way.so im putting some study time into reverse fair.

Ya that was the only way I can beat Falco on FD, had to be on point with that hehe. Footsies. =D Only thing left is to do that **** vs god Falcos.Kage with the powershields. I love to see it

Of Course he did. Damn elf.he lost to a link/quote]
those character specialists though. always being tricky.me and tm were 1 win away from making top 32 at SWEET. feels kinda bad, he lost to a link and i lost to a dk.
gonna post a giant recap when i get home
Stomp to reverse fair is a good di mixup at mid-percent beneath a platform. Get on top of the platform after the stomp and then do it. It beats bair honestly in that situation, but ur positioning while aiming the fair is what makes up most of the mindgame thereso im putting some study time into reverse fair.

Ya if you get it, we can get some good sessions going on and put it on youtube. If you play locally then the lag is almost non existent.@ Divinokage yo u still play melee online? Built myself a beast and have the gc controller + adapter ready , just need to setup dolphin
Edit:
is the online decent?
Anyone know other notable players that play melee online
