Vudujin is just a better player, that's all.

It's fine, kage can believe anything he would like. If people want to sleep on me let them sleep, the rate i'm going I won't need to defend myself in text on here my play will more than show for its self.

If you took that badly then I don't know what would be wrong with you. It is true Vudujin is probably better than Swag. Is that being a douche in anyway? What could I possibly imply other than that?

You could blame your loss on a match-up but generally it's the player themselves that makes decisions you aren't used to.

It's okay really.

It's hard to fully understand what people mean on the internet. I made a post about how I want to sit down with Jacob (vudujin) and learn the luigi match up and it seemed like you were just saying oh he's just better than you don't bother.

in the future i'll try to be less sensitive

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n09plGd8wRo

Yes, I believe vudujin is better than me. However, I have the mindset I should never lose to anyone I don't like going in to matches feeling like I SHOULD lose to any player it throws off a lot of my edge.

I was talking to swag in friendlies after the event and he told me ganon counters luigi, when luigi is off stage I edge guard him by jumping out and falling with his forward b and back airing it as he releases it works amazingly its the netural game I have a lot of trouble with. If I play aggressively like i want to play, I get destroyed with him inside of me. If I play defensively and try to read along his wave dashes the matches become in my favor in not closer to being even. I really underestimated how much luigi can style on ganon.

Nice job dude. I thought you were retired, but I'm glad to see you see still play. I'd like to meet you and Naka in teams one day when IHSB is teaming with me. I think we'd win :)

Also, it's hard to read your posts. You use absolutely no punctuation sometimes, so it's kinda hard to follow at times.

I type very quickly, honestly. It's that I go on a rant in my head and I get it all out as quickly as possible. It's often that I forget because I'm trying to get my thoughts out and not considering how its going to look when its done.

note to self: proof read.

Naka and I do not team together, this was the first time in history we didn't kill each other all game. It was a lot of fun and videos should be up around monday.

posting this again incase you missed it:

as far as "retiring" goes, it's impossible to quit this game. I only play it once every couple months or when someone wants to hit me up, I don't even have a controller of my own. Every tournament I borrow a controller and practice with it at the venue.

Well I think generally it's better to stay grounded vs Luigi so that it's easier to react to his wavedashes when he tries to weave in and out. Like Jab, ftilt usually can stop his momentum pretty quickly with the occasional side-B if you can really call his next move though much riskier of course. Also, downtilt is safe vs Luigi on block too so sometimes you can force options OOS from that. If he starts jumping, well.. that's where you want him. =P

I can honestly say that I've never played a pro Luigi. I think it'd definitely have to be an annoying matchup for Ganon, but I definitely think that a little patience and realizing that you have 3x the range as him gives Ganon an edge. Yeah if he starts hitting you, you might not know how to get out right away, but I definitely believe Ganon can avoid getting hit if he's playing right. I really wanna play Vudujin now!

i am kinda used to playing luigi.

it's my bro's secondary and i think it's lozr's secondary despite him having a decent marth. it's just the combination of someone utilizing luigi's ground and air movement right in accordance with spacing that makes him annoying to play against...not to mention that spacing aside, his moves have ridiculous hitboxes for the range. his movement presents a lot of weird options with spacing too, idk.. vudujin would **** my ganon i'm sure, but i bet renth could do tons better if he had some luigi practice like he was saying.

the range factor would be important as well as patience like g.vice said... i am a lot less techy while playing luigi than other match-ups prob.

playing vudu is weird sometimes. i have the same problems against him as you do renth. i feel similarly that if i were to play vudu right now i'd lose, but i'd want to spend a hour or two to just understand the neutral position and how to stay grounded and what his movement options tend to be and what situations he uses them in.

mid tier matchups are funny and weird.

that's good to hear. next time i'll be up north should be rom5. i know that's quite a drive from the pittsburgh region, but maybe you can find a ride over to the eastern side of things.

outside of that, it's looking like the spring at the earliest :(

Vudu also plays a very defensive game, and doesn't really give up much whenever you're on neutral positions against him. He usually sits back and watches you, picks one option to punish, and waits until you go for it to move in.

G.vice, me and renth would probably lose to you and IHSB. Swan Lake however would eat you alive. <3 Falcon Zelda baby.

Swan-Lake is the Pittsburgh team to beat. Play so on point together its so fun to watch and play against. Naka and I teaming together is a means to end, lake couldn't attend so I borrowed naka.

Apollo, A Florida peach. Is my normal teams partner, we've done well even beat armada/aniolas in friendlies at pound 4/5 whichever.

To the point, Zane. At Apex if Apollo goes and teams with me, we will happily MM you and Jack.

I'd gladly take that money- I mean that offer :)

Haha, I doubt I get to go to Apex man. I never get to travel as of yet. Maybe that'll change, because I'd love to play you guys.

Is there a couch in PA I could invite myself onto some weekend? I'm finally in a position where work allows for out of state travel for a single weekend, both schedule wise and financially.

Edit: Gau > Sabin, get at me G. Vice

false, ill pwn you in ganon dittos no matter how hard you train
It's possible, Ganon dittos are silly.

I might go to the big house. Haven't made up my mind just yet on that one. Definitely working on going to Apex.

-Also, I cannot train. Every tournament I borrow a controller cause my last one broke playing dashizwiz in florida. I don't own a copy of the game. ect.ect.

I just go to tournaments and swag out.

lol good ****

Ganon dittos a pretty legit tho, def. one of the more legit dittos in the game.
They're pretty fun, I've played just about everybody in them.. RockCrock, Linguini, Spider_Sense, Eikelmann, Chaddd, Black Chris, Ace.

The list i'm sure goes on, if I make it to big house which I probably will. I will ganon ditto you all day and mario ditto cause mario dittos are crazy fun.

Tournaments aren't expensive if you go once every couple months.
