man, i guess so. i figured it out and i don't even main ganon.

There are 2 other really good Ganon mains in the Houston area. One Xzalla, is just so much faster to react than me. We all have our strengths though. In fact, he's the reason I picked up Ganon. He doesn't have many vids online.

Another guy, CeasarWTF just has great spacing. They both used to tear me apart, but not anymore >:D

Seriously though, Xzalla made 4th place going all Ganon in one of those Evo tournaments. Apparently, that's a big tournament but I guess I don't know for sure.

Cage is mad cause there are no more true Ganon mains for him to bite off. When I get vids up you can start biting all my stuff Cage, promise. :uzi:

This matchup is pretty tough, cuz it's easy to be gimped by Marth. If the Marth is spamming SH double Fair, shield the first fair and Uair OoS. Another tactic with good Marths is to space Nair against Ganon. M2K finished me with this one cuz I hadn't seen it before, also against Chaddd. I met another Marth recently who started Nairing right through me and landing behind my shield straight into a reverse Utilt. It seemed like an unbreakable tactic (All I could do was roll away) until I started crouch canceling instead of shielding (DUH!)

Don't let Marth get you into the air, because then he will have all the control.

Don't forget to light shield edgehog.



Also, I recently went to a tournament. I've mostly got only exp in friendlies, so it was a big learning experience. I got nervous and bombed my first set, but then I remembered that I'm the best, haha and that confidence got me back in the game and into 3rd place. Check out the vids here:

Those noob marth tactics does not work on me!! It really seems like no one can see what to do against Marth... lol. I still think Ganon has the advantage in that matchup.

Kage is right. Despite how much people like to talk about that M2K match, I was about 20 minutes away from forfeiting all my pools matches at Pound 3 before I played that match, and despite how many people claim those nairs he used were so devastating, I have to say they weren't scary even in the slightest. It's really a stupid move aside from combo'ing, and it has no place in pressure. Especially against Ganon who's forward, neutral AND back air outrange it.

It was really, completely, the worst misconception people have had about any matchup ever. I also got Ken combo'd because I failed to smash DI away from the forward airs. There was also no Auto DI used by me in that entire match.

Yup, Marth cannot combo Ganon... only max x2 hits. But the other way around well Ganon can combo Marth. Downthrow to Nair to something else works well.. also even downair to regrab downthrow/Nair to whatever. =P Stay grounded for the most part, downtilts is so good vs Marth. Upair Out of shield if you feel the spacing is correct. Well basically during a MM I won 2-0 vs M2k's marth.. =P but his Sheik.. god****.. I can't beat it.

KAGE! Please record more matches vs good Marths. Also, you are the sheik slayer as far as Ganon's go; how did that happen? Do you remember what he was doing that caught you?

I guess I've become the Marth Slayer too lol. But anyways the match I've got 3-0 by M2k's Sheik should have been recorded. I don't know where it went, I know it was on a laptop maybe Scar's?

Ok well if any of you are going to Genesis, I can definitely show you what to do if not... then I'll try to get some good Marths to record stuff with me.
