How do you get out of tornado the easiest

usually i just hit up over and over (smash DI up over and over) but the results are random, sometimes I get out but sometimes I get stuck in the entire thing even a rising one. Someone do more tests on this, I hate it's randomness feel for escaping it.

Yeah DI,SDI up its how to get out of nado but if the MK does follow your DI you get stuck.....
Also some guys that DIng down work, i dont think so.

Actually depends on how the MK nado and if he follows your DI M2K then becomes Mindgame:( and we all know in that case MK wins like 75:25:(

But in general DI up works great...

I dont ****ing know. Pisses me off. Like I think I know how to get out of it then SIKE. I just get caught up in it again. Nado is homo.

ddd bowser DK can never escape, i was talking MK dittos

yeah it seems just Smash DI up but if they do a rising one then you got tricked and you're ****ed unless you get out right away,.... in which case THEY Are ****ed

also here's a tip,: to keep ppl in tornado longer, move sideways left/right while hitting with either the left or right side of it. I know this works vs computers easier this way if you're slightly moving left or right, but vs humans it's random

In MK dittos one thing I really like to do to stop it is to Dair immediately after I DI out of the tornado to stop it. It's almost always guaranteed to hit I think.

Thanks for the top M2K. I just smash di up and air dodge, but usually if your opponent rises with you, you're ****ed.

It call the whorenado for a reason.

old, ive been doing that forever lol

whenever ppl tornado me, half the time they take more damage than i do, that is if i miss the initial blocking it or swording it. tornado isn't that good in MK Dittos, but it's a really broken move overall

SDI up during the initial frames of the tornado. After those frames pass its very difficult to get out.

I heard you have to di out the way you came in...then again i usually do just wait till i pop out with di up, or footstool the mk in the middle that might just be a armored jump thing though...but yeah seems to random "/

MK's DI isn't good enough to escape it consistently. He lacks the mobility, so another MK can just follow your DI.

What you wanna do in a MK ditto is throw out a disjointed attack with enough range to get to his hurt box. If he approaches you with it, you can just throw out a fair and knock him out of it.

But if you get hit buy, you're gonna have to DI up into dair.

Marth can get out of it quickly by DI'ing away into an air dodge. It usually doesn't work that easily with MK though.

for MK is really hard to get out of the whorenado he lackmobility inthe air but is somethingthat any MK mainer must know but a solution is that when u see a whorenado coming when both are in the stage just use ur Up b in the floor it breaks the whorenado easily but only if both attacks are in the floor. if anyone know how to explain this better can do it , I am not good at writing spanish

I'm suprised none of you know how to DI the tornado :).

Tap-DI up and away. Not just up. This allows you to AD out so that they can't reach you.

Ask M2K if you don't believe me :). I got out of almost every tornado he did really fast.

As Hylian said, you have do DI in a horizontal direction as well as up. But Metaknight can follow you and keep you in it, but I would say its about a 50:50 thing to escape. And as Metaknight its really easy to avoid getting sucked into the Tornado.

Just a note, DK seems to get out of the tornado easier than lighter characters. However, I do smash DI very soon after the tornado starts, similar to the way Hylian described it. success rates vary around 85%

Also, Zac does his smash DI so hard that he gets blisters on his hands and breaks controllers. Zac is a cheatyface!
