How well do you handle amusement park rides? I'm really great at handling them, though after a few I start to get dizzy and have to stop.

In terms of being uncomfortable, though, nothing's really a problem for me anymore. Name any ride, I can take it, pretty much.

Roller coasters and I don't get along well. I've never been able to handle them.

Usually I go on the ones everyone else does so I don't look that stupid, and it's actually pretty fun. It's just hard for me to get over the fear.

I really like the hardcore rides, but really I have to go on the good rides or I probably could fall asleep on them. Honestly, I go on rides and where people are screaming their pants off, I am just holding up my chin trying to stay awake through it. The only rides I realluy can't stand are those really kiddy rides and those that require so much security that they have to get up in your croch (sp?), that is really uncomfortable.

I'm a hands in the air kind of guy on rollercoasters. Love 'em.

The only type of ride that makes my stomach turn is the kind that gets to a certain height and then just drops. There's just no telling when you're going to plunge, and when you do, your *** lifts off the seat, your shoulders hit the shoulder guard and even if you're the manliest guy in the world, you let out a scream. It's fun, but makes my stomach turn every time I do it.

I'm so bad that my girlfriend still mocks me for the time I got off one a minute before it was going to start.

I can do rollercoasters though. Kind of.

hi
I cant stand the same thing Cashed said.

I would normally be terrified by a roller coaster, then once I get on,I got my hands in the air then getting in line again...

That's the way I am. Most people sit there threw the ride and at the end don't take full enjoyment of it. I like to scream and put my hands up just for the fun of it.

I just recently went to Canada's wonderland and 6 flags in NY. I went on Behemoth, it was a fun ride (the scariest in Canada, I think). It felt as if you were about to fly out of your seats when it reached the top.

At 6 flags I went on superman. It was fun, like a smaller version of Behemoth. The swirl on your sides was great (made my head feel like it was going to fall off ).

Then there were the rides that I went on but made my stomach feel weird. Not that I was scared but I just hate falling straight down. Drop Zone goes to the top then waits 10 seconds, before it finally goes down, it pushes up a bit (that's the annoying part) then rockets straight down.

Weren't those rides banned for a while? They had to do some testing because someone lost there leg on it (that made it even scarier :urg:).

I used to hate roller coasters until I went to Six Flags for my graduating class trip in June, now I love them.

But it also depends on the ride. If it's a ride with any type of freakishly giant drop, I'm scared of them. If it's like a regular roller coaster (i.e: has loops and what not) I like it.

The strange thing is that I can only go on roller coasters with friends. I guess because it's more fun with them since we're saying stupid things during the ride. :/

Killer roller coaster rides give me suspence when i'm at the peak of the ride which is fun but scary at the same time, the good ol' Ferris wheel is good but not as exciting, I'm also into bumper cars which is always thrilling since I actually get to crash into other cars for fun without getting a citation lol..

Yeah, like above posters, I'm all about the coasters. High thrill rides.
I also love scramblers, those rides that are three sets of three (planes, cups, whatever) and they rotate.

Me, I can handel just about any amusement park ride. As for some of my firends, they are too chicken to even ride a warm up ride. XD

They say the same "what if I fall" logic to make me mad for going with them on an amusement park. I don't see no point of going if they don't go on no rides. D:

I can handle amusement park rides very well.

Well, that mood kind of changes when I'm with my certain friend who looks to tell me about these technical possibilities about what could happen to lead to the ride collapsing and everybody getting hurt. He does it on purpose too... :(

I loves Rollercoasters. Screaming is always fun too, as well as sticking my hands up in the air. Altough I get a bit nervous every time I strap in, the feeling quickly gets replace by my excitement.

Kingda Ka. Best rollercoaster ever. NO DISCUSSION.

As long as the rollercoaster isn't made out of wood and in fairly good condition, I don't mind it. It's the fact that they rattle alot and jerk you around that gives me a headache afterwords.

I'm actually going to the Vancouver PNE tomorrow.

They have the Wooden Roller Coaster there, i believe it's one of the best in the world.

Roller coasters are awesome when you ride on them, but when I'm thinking about it before I ride it, I kinda chicken out...

The only thing I'm scared of are those things that you strap around yourself and go really high. Those bungee things... I'm scared of heights that are extreme except for the roller coasters since at least I'm strapped to the seat and I can hold the bar infront of me.

I'm fine with most rides, but I've never ridden a roller coaster before because I always ended up getting too nervous. I plan to next year though, because my whole graduating class is going on a trip to Wonderland for our retreat :D.

I'm a bit of a roller coaster fan, though I won't neccessarily go the biggest roller coaster I see.

I would tell you my favorite roller coaster, but I live too near it.:(

I used to love coasters but now they give me headaches so I go on them less >.>

Universal Orlando: Spiderman

Not a coaster but the best ride ever. When I first went there a couple years ago I had a fastpass so there was no wait. I went on it literally 23 times in a row.

Yes. I went there a few years ago and rode that. Can you believe the biggest fall was only an eight foot drop? Awesome.

I had no idea there were so many other roller coaster lovers! Most people I know are deathly afraid of them.

At the Minnesota State Fair every summer I go on some pretty fun rides, but only one is "real" thrill leveled.

The Valley Fair in Shakopee (MN also) which I've been to a few times is very fun. Although not as steep as Kingda Ka, the Wild Thing there is very thrilling. It slowly goes up to the top, then stops before making a huge fall. Very fun, and my second favorite ride there behind The Wave (awesome water ride).

Minnesota has some pretty cool amusement parks. I'm glad I live there.

I'm petrified of roller coasters. Though I have gone on them before, and still do. But only when my friends pretty much force me to go on it, otherwise I try to advoid them. Which is weird considering I'm a floridian, I'm SUPPOSE to be used to roller coasters. >.<

The worst part is waiting in the (usually) very long line prior to going on the ride, the supense kills me. However, once I'm actually on the ride and it's going, then I'm okay and I start to enjoy it.

That ride singlehandedly made my day there the best day of my life

I've been on one of the largest roller coasters in the world. Six Flags Texas, they call it the "Titan" and it was insane. I usually don't do well with roller coasters and crazy thrill rides, but this one felt different. My favorite attractions are usually something unique, such as go-kart races.

I don't really like the butterfly feeling you get in your stomach on roller coasters.
