I live realllly close to cedar point so ive been there many a good time. The only problem I have is I got sick sometimes...on the pathway...

but its all in good fun, im one of those dudes that waits in the extra long line just to ride in the front car of the coaster.

I've been on one of the largest roller coasters in the world. Six Flags Texas, they call it the "Titan" and it was insane. I usually don't do well with roller coasters and crazy thrill rides, but this one felt different. My favorite attractions are usually something unique, such as go-kart races.
Didn't they close down the Six Flags there?
Is there anything else in Texas?

Slowly starting to enjoy my mothertongue again. :)
Top Thrill Dragster....at Cedar Pointe....
Holy. Crap.
That is the only roller coaster I have ever come off where I was actually scared for my life.
Thing about Dragster is, you don't really have time to be scared. It's over in what, 8 seconds? Millenium Force is much more intense imo.

I can handle Roller Coasters really easily and go on all types of roller coasters as well as drop towers, but I really hate anything that makes you spin around really fast. **** makes me puke.

When I was young I tried to avoid the really hardcore rides but fortunately I was talked into alot of stuff. A few years ago my uncle talked me into going on one of the drop rides. I'm happy I went on it but I probably won't again. They're fun but I can't breath on the way down. I tense up so much that i hit the bottom and I get that tingle feeling cause my entire body relax at once. I really like RollerCoasters. They're were a few that when I first saw them I just tried to avoid as much as possible. But as the day went on we would end up going on it anyways and I probably go on it 4 or 5 times. The most adrenaline pumping rollercoaster I've road was at Knott's Berry Farm. This rollercoster went from 0 to 75 in like 2 to 3 seconds. The first time I went on it, it scared the crap out of me cause it just bursts out of the terminal.

My favorite amument park was definetly Universal Studios Orlando. The Dueling Dragons ride was the first hanging rollercoaster I went on.

Go to New Jersey, ride Kingda Ka. Same concept, but alot faster.
It will make Xcelerator feel like nothing..

Dueling Dragons is fun, but it sucks that you have to go on both (therefore wait in line for both) in order to get the full experience.

Kingda Ka was always closed way back.

But I finally went on it a few months ago. It was ****in' crazy. At the end of the ride my stomach was in my throat.

Cedar Point > All other amusement parks.

Lol I love Cedar Point. Definaely my favorite amusement park because they have soo many great costers like Millenium Force, Magnum, Raptor, Maverick..etc. I'm very lucky to live only an hour away from it and can go every year.

I crave just about any coster. It's awsome to just go very fast and even upsidedown. An hour and a half wait in line can suck sometimes but it's always worth the wait if the ride is extremely thrilling.

X @ Six Flags is prolly the craziest ride ive ridden on.
However some rides that have alot of hard turning give me headaches.

When I went to Six Flags Great Adventure, I bought a Flash Pass. That saved my day at the cost of $40

Dueling Dragons is an awsome ride. I rode it when I went to Orlando for vacation in January 2002. It's cool how they designed it to where it appears your going to hit objects like a castle and even the other coster. One thing with me on fast rides is that my eyes will water for some reason. When I got off that ride one of the workers thought I was crying. Awsome ride despite the fact the line is about a mile long of just walking through a castle. Not only this but it was sort of like a maze. It took my brother, sister and me around five minutes to finally get to the Dueling Dragons coster.

I think Gemini is a really underrated rollercoaster (at Cedar Point). It's not a really bg one, but it's genuinely fun to ride, and the fact that you have to wait a fraction of the time that you would wait for other rides makes it really high value.
Gemini is awsome and I should have added it to the list. (I thought about it but didn't add it) The hills are great and to some degree steep. One of the best parts of it is slapping high five's with people on the other cart.

That's awsome. Sounds kind of expensive but if you can get on rides over and over again without having to wait a long time then I'd assume it's worth it.

Every time I go to Universal to ride this (thrice now) it breaks right when I get there. Last summer some poor saps were stuck in the Ice one at the top of the first hill forever.

are you kidding, that thing was epic!!!

(I am the coaster fanatic, hands in the air all day)

My friend didn't think I could keep my hands up the entire ride on top thrill, he's like "the force keeps your hands down"

Oh how wrong he was proven.

Any coaster fanatic on the east coast has to go to cedar point, if you don't then you haven't lived.

...as for kingda ka... it is only about 6ft higher and like... the same speed (maybe 1-2 mph more) and they copied Cedar Point and made it 6ft higher only so they could say "we have the tallest/fastest"

Now compare the rest of their coasters to Cedar Points... You can't...
Cedar Point is that much win.

Maverick is freaking AWESOME

not a big fan of roller coasters. Ill ride some, but meh. Everything else im fine on though. I love some of the intense thrill rides in disney world though(ex.Mission Space, Test Track, Space Mountain ,etc.). Even though I am not a major roller coaster guy, next time I go down I want to hit Rock N Roller Coaster.

When you go on Rock N Roller Coaster, be sure to tell me what it's like. I'm a major Aerosmith fan who doesn't live near Florida. :ohwell:

i can take almost every kind of ride, but i can not handle spinning rides. i get so sick on those. and anyways the amusement park here in Utah is not that spectacular. in fact it is kinda small and has nothing very long. maybe twenty seconds at max. and we just have junk rides. except two.

I freaking love them, especially the really fast ones.

I used to go to the one that swings by here every summer, but then I went to Disneyworld, which just blew it completely out of the water. Seriously, no matter how old you are, go to Disneyworld. If you like amusement parks (or ***-kicking... Indiana Jones show for the big winner), you will like Disneyworld.

I also went to Warner Brother World in Spain which was also pretty cool. The roller coasters were by far the best part but there was some pretty cool stuff like themed areas (mini-Hollywood ala the 1950s, mini-Gotham City, etc).

I've only thrown up once ever, which was after I went on the Zipper after eating two corn dogs. Yeah kind of a mistake from the get-go.
