dang to be honest that nukka dojo always be talking about how he ***** someone trust me just ask him what he thinks about such and such and he'll be like OH i ***** him in a MM 12% low stock on smashville.
Azen is also secretly elitist and arrogant. Mew2King is more arrogant than he shows. ;)

I just don't hide anything about myself. I'm very open and honest.

I don't trash talk that much. I just tell people that I'm gonna play gay, and then proceed to do so. If they aren't crying after that, then I might throw in a trash talk sentence or two.

And you'll never get that respect if YOU are the one defending it. You have to let others talk for you and let your placements speak for themselves. Defending your own skill is counterproductive if you want respect.
i disagree with that. Always defend yourself when others wont.

I would be the first to say Dojo is not arrogant one bit. And no that is not just San Angelo bias. If you ask him how his pools were or a match, he tells you how it is. If he ***** someone, 3stock 12% thats just stating what happen. There is a big difference in that, and going about saying " I am a God"
"i did this, i did that, Check out my trophy case"

And as far as the respect thing goes. It is quite simple, Put up and Shut up. NO ONE likes people that are so full of themselves and brag constantly about there accomplishments. If someone says " you are trash" for one.... Who gives a ****? Trying to justify yourself is a futile effort, especially via words. At the end of the day, Smash is just a GAME. I laugh sometimes at the thought of how some people would be without it. Regardless of what any of us do, no one is going to care 3years from now, or heck even a year. It is cool and awesome in the moment and thats it.

So inui, when people bash you, You should already know in the back of your mind people will not change there view of you just by your words on a internet forum. If it really is THAT important to you to argue with people of how " High and mighty" you are take it to PM's or something, cause the other 99% of us DO NOT CARE.

lol

Just because people hide it doesn't mean they're not. Azen, Mew2King, Dojo, Atomsk, and many other top players have loads of arrogance that they just keep to themselves. If you were in the elite circle of buddies at the top, you'd realize this.

You can't be as good as us and not develop an ego. >_>;

Exactly. I completely believe every player has a at least a little bit of ego. Its just something that comes with the territory. Being arrogant/having a ego isn't always a bad thing.

It's not a bad thing until you start bragging about it constantly and berating players and telling everyone how much better you are.

Disagree, I know plenty of high profile people in the field they are in that are 100% humble.

Just because you are that way does not mean everyone else is. I could list many examples, a great one being Tim Tebow.

What people show on the outside isn't everything. Being arrogant is just showing confidence in yourself. Now there are times when people go overboard, but thats shifting this to a whole different direction. We can agree to disagree, just realize that perception is one thing, reality is another.

No pokemon at HOBO 19, play a real game.

On to something different, i was just offered a job at abercombie and fitch. I AM OFFICIALLY WHITE!

Being aggressively arrogant to the point of putting others down pushes it. A person can have a sense of confidence without being an *** about it.

I won't say I don't have a bit of an ego, but I generally try to keep it to myself. When I bring it out, it's just playful **** talk. Most of you already know that.

Get at me with the discount, you whitey. :)

all i know is a genius is one who sets himself beyond his peers. you havent shown me that, but i do admit one tourny isnt enough. i hope your skills are displayed at hobo 19 and 20. Like what Goku said once to cell, ''If you spend half the time boasting than you would be training, then your skills truly suffer''
Broly gets cool points for quoting DBZ.
