LOLOLOL Yeah....that's a brawl player for you xD No offense...but I mean come on lol

And crap...if you are getting melee back in then that means I might have to drop brawl...o well we shall see lol Just have to practice more melee then ^_^ No probs there lol

Don't you play with ARC a lot? I remember watching 40 of your about 90 fights literally....seriously who uploaded those xD

WD's can also be used for situations when you are trying to DashDance but take too long and you start that slow running animation...You can just WD and start DDing again....But I don't think Link DDs either....Idk I never really worried about them having such a wide variety or people to use. Watching Germ's Link is fun though....He are there any videos I can use to help with brawl and stuff like that?

Most character don't need it though. I mean there is triangle jumping with the higher tiers but they don't usually have time for that anymore with the new metagame.

Moonwalking...is useless unless you are Captain ****
What's that supposed to mean? I never broke my controllers playing brawl haha. And I've played melee since 03 competitively...a lot longer then most. I just happened to break 4 of mine recently :/. Trying to get my tech skill back.

Also, you can play both games. I do :). I play more melee then brawl actually haha.

Also, I don't think you need to drop Marth. Marth does great against spacies you are just being too simple with him.(No offense) From the matches I watched with you vs Dojo you just seemed to rely on edge gimps and when you were on the stage you Fsmashed WAYYYY WAY WAY too much. You need to use your aireals more and move around to try and get those grabs against spacies..not fsmash them. What do you think I told dojo that made him start beating your marth? I just told him to stay in the middle of the stage lmao. I don't know why you were fsmashing so much but dojo punished you almost every time after I sat down.

I also told him not to go to the right side before your brinstar match >_< haha.

Just work on being more versatile and not relying on one or two things so much and your marth will be beast.

O I was talking about the guy on his phone cramping his hand from texting. A melee player would just be like psssh....xD

I actually get advice like that a lot but then I use it for a bit and then I start reverting back to my old self =/ AND I KNEWIT!!!!!!!! LOLOLOL I was like....something is wrong here....Dojo isn't doing what he was doing before...he got harder...and by harder I mean not as impatient. LOL but yeah =/ you almost let him beat me lololol

Back when I was first learning how to play this game that was all I could do. Falco laser spams me too much and Fox moved too fast. So I just waited for them to come to me and gimp the hell out of them. That is why M2k was my idle. Then m2k started getting his *** kicked and since my style followed his <_< that eventually led to my downfall too. Idk I just need to watch more Marth's. Recent ones. Ken can't teach me anything anymore since he was in a different Metagame. And there are almost no pro marths. M2k like I said was just a gimper and sucked at actually fighting.

And yea. the thing is that I don't have a Wii to play brawl on =/

Except the top players and hosts. You guys are smarter. You have class. You're just better people from what I know. Most of the other TX Smashers I encounter are just hostile and rude. It's quite sad. I wish they could learn from you examples.

Nah, it was in 7th grade and done by the school.
not to feed the troll or anything.

but you are the one that is hostile and rude online and in real life.

Lol, nothing to do but play tcon!

EDIT: LOL @ BEAR

2nd EDIT: I don't think Inui is that annoying, it's just y'all push him to the limit. Just don't respond to his obnoxious posts and then he won't seem so obnoxious. Btw Inui class rhymes with grass rhymes with pass rhymes with *** rhymes with class

Lol, bored, nobody can beat me at Conduit.

Alright everyone. Those who are thinking of Smoomfest next Saturday, would Friday work better for you? Either is free, but on Saturday, it could only be from like 11am-3pm.
If it's on Saturday I can go, if it's on Friday I can't.

LttP is a fun game, though I never got far in that game.

Speaking of which I need to get that game on my Wii.

Little side note, I'll be coming to HOBO 18 Xyro.

Sybawave, what characters you looking into? If you like marth, he's solid in brawl. If you want a little bit of tech skill in your play, try diddy. I personally think TL requires alot more skill to use than most, but alot disagree, so I suggested diddy. And diddy is really good anyways.

Marth requires a lot of tipping A.K.A. spacing, it's weird how he is one of the few top tier chars with no projectiles. I'm trying to learn him a bit, nothing serious, just so I can get the idea of "what would a marth player do" y'know?

Toon Link is crazy hard to master, he is all about timing. That's why I hate playing wi-fi sooo much, but that's the only way I can brawl with other people. My connection is full of fail.

BTW **** DIDDY!!!!!

Actually I play with a lot of characters. Idk how good I am with them on a public scale though =/ But I do a nice job of mimicing the videos I watch...btw I still need those videos of AT's in brawl...

Diddy I like because I could combo and trip people up with Bananannananas (I actually learned this a few days after playing brawl when it came out) Marth did still seem to have some of his fluidity...more so than the rest...Kirby is the new Jiggs...but yeah I like faster pace characters. But I can't find any...

Squirtle is like top tier he is such a bad A

....Mk I always sucked with lololol

G dub is fun lol I picked him as my low T in melee because of how good he was in brawl. I have trouble using him in a fight though. I like his tricks. ZsS is pretty fast. Idk

I need to play with people and explore some. I don't own a Wii/Brawl so I can't do this on my own. I don't plan on getting one since like I said this is only a SIDE game.

If you want to be fast paced, squirtle is a great choice. Besides, houston could use a Pokemon Trainer xD

Ivy is best out of the 3. He is also a good projectile user counter like snake and toon link.

Charizard is just the one you have to be most random with (Rock Smash FTW)

And Sakurai made Squirtle a flying-type.

ATs in Brawl? LOL. That's funny...there's like a couple of useful ones, like DACUS for some characters, but that's pretty much it.

Diddy is pretty fun to play, but you really have to know what you are doing if you actually want to win matches. Marth is pretty much all about spacing because that's really all he has. Kirby is pretty good, but some characters can CEMENT wall him *coughSnakecough*.

But if you want to remain tournament viable, you should probably stick with top tiers, unless you really actually want to try and get good with a less viable character. But it isn't easy...still, it's Brawl. So if you find yourself hating a character, you could just pick up a new one within a week, lol.

Kingdom, wtf are you talking about?
I mean, Squirtle is aerial based. His best moves are his aerials, I mean his Jabs and tilts are useful too, but I'm sayin' he is better off in the air. His best kill move imo is his dthrow.

Ivy is the easiest person to get a kill with. He is also the easiest to learn out of the three. Spacing and projectiles. Best combo is nair to bullet seed, that's like 40% even with DI.

Charizard is hard for me IDK why.

If you're using PT you have to learn all three Pokemon. Even if you are good enough to take the damage from switching twice after each stock, you're going to deal with a fatigued Pokemon dealing less % and having significantly less knockback. Ask Magik, if it weren't for the mandatory switching and fatigue PT would be 500 times better because you could actually stick to the best Pokemon per matchup, but you're actually forced to use at least two Pokemon per match for the most part. If two don't at least do okay you're screwed. lol

Oh and plenty of characters do really well against all three.

Falco LOL

What character is ever not aerial based? Pikachu has always been aerial based throughout all of the games. I can't think of character who isn't better in the air than the ground. I mean the character would have to suck a lot then if he was

And I think I am pretty decent with them...but I still have to play people. I played Player-4 but I heard he was the worst one of y'all =/ so Idk lol

When I say aerial based, I mean they are almost never on the ground and all their moves are coming from up top. Squirtle is one for example.

Ganon is worse in the air then the ground imo. His best moves are his flame choke combos. His uair has range and his bair can space, the other 2 are pretty much just for killing and mind games with thunderstomping.

I never see anybody play with Wolf's aerials, Bowser doesn't have the what's good aerials either imo.

And I think I am pretty decent with them...but I still have to play people. I played Player-4 but I heard he was the worst one of y'all =/ so Idk lol
QFT

EDIT: Lucario's airgame isn't ALL that.

But Snake is so slow...I want to play a good Snake player though. I really don't understand how someone can be with someone so sluggish

I mean come on....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XTSC8Ts8LL0

There was no melee in that? Had his tag said Ken then that would've been all too familiar >_< Snake is too slow to be that good

Roy_R is a little too sexy for this game....god those videos were amazing...the **** he can put into it ^_^ I want to play melee with him...I think I would SD at least 4 times just because it's him lol God Marth is still too good ^_^

Yep snake is slow...that's why I like to try to be fast with him by rushing down and blowing stuff up so something is always going on xD. He's hard to master though

Well it was one of the only brawl videos that I can remember off the top of my head since it was so ****ing sexy!

And the other video I remember that made me LOLOL just as much or more...was the one of Hylian in a teams match on Yoshi's Island when he kept trying to kill that Toon Link and got Dsmashed to death what...4 times or so? In about 30 seconds or less xD

Anti..MM melee? Tournament style? 5-40$?
