Gnes: you still aren't making sense. im fine with you saying i camp because i do camp (just not every single stock the whole time, i do approach and mix it up). but saying im a rip off sk92 makes no sense. everyone and their deceased great great great uncle knows that sk92 does not camp and plays as flashy as can be. and i'd like to see you pick up falco and "be creative".

also i would like to know your definition of "style". this game is ******** and if your not doing what works and is effective, you will get *****. swaying away from the core of your character (marths punishing, falcos camp, diddys banana) you will get *****. WHOBO grand finals? i kept hearing people say "wow m2k and dojo are mirror images...." its really hard to develop your own style when there is only one effective strategy for your character.

It would be hard for me to make falco creative, considering i dont like him in the slightest.

Firstly if your going to talk about core elements of character dont be incorrect. Marth is not about "punishing". Uh...there is no one effective strategy for a chracter...If ur attempting to use meta as an example look at Dojo/Infinity...night/day...yet both of them are hard as hell to play against. Are u can use Roy/Dphat...too entirely different styles...once again me and flip...Dojo and M2k play alike because M2k and Dojo talk strategy on aim and M2K has taught Dojo numerous things.

I SD when my opponents do, and let people stand up from tripping, despite having free kills/hits available from it, and do crazy things with my character...

yet people are now starting to chastise those of us who use said character, it's silly. Forgive me for being one of the people who pushed Wario's envelope when everyone was dropping him. Playing a high/top tier doesn't make you a bad or selfish person.

Was I giving off that implication, or were you just saying that in general? I'm actually confused by that

If I SD on accident, and my opponent SDs to even the score, then I SD again. I do it because I don't like being shown pity for a mistake on my part.

I do admit that I abuse the tripping system, and being Sonic, it's not too hard to punish a trip from any portion of the level. Mostly, it's because I'm punished for tripping as well, and reiterating, being a Sonic main, you have to be prepared for trips, because you dash a lot, and I feel it's an unfair advantage for characters that don't dash so much...such as...MK or Wario.

Getting punished at random times for using a character that just so happens to require full control of ground movement through dashing isn't fun at all.

If it happens to me in a tournament match, as it did many times at WHobo, I usually just sit there and wait for my opponent's reaction. Sometimes they attack, sometimes they wait, and sometimes they run away (this one confuses me...). If they don't do anything, I get back up.

Tripping is stupid, and everyone knows it. But it's part of the game and has an equal chance of happening to anyone, so there's nothing you can do...

Also, I don't know why people are complaining about CY's Wario. It doesn't run away and is actually aggressive...which is a shocking contrast to DMG. It's how Wario SHOULD be played IMO. CY chose to play the less ******** way, and I find that admirable.

It also proves the whole "different playstyles" side-argument we seem to have going. DMG and CY play completely different, and CY hasn't been playing Wario that long.

Saying I camped, coming from an Olimar player. The whole time I was on the ledge, what happened? Pikmin were getting thrown the entire match. When I got on, what happened? You just grabbed. So don't play that spam card, because I think you threw FAR more Pikmin than I shot arrows.

Right until u runaway to the next edge while getting chip damage all the same...Also Pit and only be grabbed if his ledge invincibility leaves...marth can not do ANYTHING TO HIM he must react appropriately to whichever move pit uses from the ledge. Dont try to justify you gaying him in a exploitable game.

Are you joking? Marth can up-b Pit's uair under the stage for kills 90% of the time. Other than that, he can predict the Pit and drop > counter. There are many options for Marth to punish Pit camping. Ask Take, he can get through it, without a projectile. So if he's trash like you guys always say, then you should be pro at it.

Gnes, you shouldn't even worry about planking. Diddy has SO many ways around it. If your worried about Pit planking and not MK planking, then you just wait till Pit players actually pick up MK.

Wait, nevermind, because we actually have honor. We do what we have to do to win, whether it be by aggravation or beasting you, it still works. When life gives you lemons, you don't build a house, because all you have is lemons. You do what you can with what you've got. Learn to mix up, or just get the hell away from the player and call excessive stalling or something.

and i dont like falco either too much. once i realized that it boiled down to how much you camped and played like a ***** i stopped liking him. i made enough effort into learning the fancy ATs and **** that he had, and trying to learn mindgames and stuff but it all didnt matter. falcos top tier for his camping and his CG, and for that reason only.

and yes, marth is pretty much punishing and spacing... i said punishing before cause thats what came to mind first.

i think your getting too specific when you say style, i mean sure not everyone plays the same and does the same moves, but they rely on something. dphat/roy... side b. santi/jerm, all Tls projectiles. i wont say you and flip use bananas, thats too obvious, you guys grab a lot though. all falcos... no **** they camp. telling me to get creative is pretty much saying that i shouldn't camp. camping WORKS so why shouldn't i do it?

I went to one MK banned tourney and I beat everyone except Chillin's Falco with my DDD where all he did was roll around a lot then CG me and laser camp into rapid As or illusions to the other side of the stage when I approached him sometimes. After being sent to losers we all split top 4 (I split with them SOOOOOO many times in the past). I didn't play Azen or Atomsk, even though I have the advantage over them based off the average of past sets. DDD vs a good Falco is too hard if they are just playing campy perfectly the entire time. Even Atomsk was convinced that after playing Chillin; my DDD did a bit better than Atomsk's DDD did vs Chillin. That's why chillin hates brawl because camping is too dominant and he likes to attack but he's a lot more disadvantaged with some characters by doing that. That's one of the reasons I like MK it's more fun you just go out and destroy people. I had to use DDD like 3 or 4 times to make sure I won some sets at FAST1, despite maining MK at that time. I'm trying to go only MK now though because I'd rather fully master 1 character than need to counterpick if I don't have to.

Yes everyone has the basic core that comes from their character but their own unique expansion from that is what creates their "style."

Wait, let me get this straight. You thought I was serious when I was talking as if Falco is the easiest character to use, even though I said countless times that nothing I say online is meant to be serious? .......

I say that about almost every character just to see what people say. I've said the same for Sheik "all you have to do is Ftilt and Needle Camp" and for Bowser "all you have to do is Up B, Jab, and tilts", etc.
