Day 1, seeing FG default to 2 stocks I cried inside. Thank goodness I didn't waste 300+ for 3ds/inferior 3ds version of game that'll become obsolete in 3 months.

Don't worry tho, feel comfortable with 3ds but still don't enjoy no cstick? buy our new 3ds that comes with a cstick in the next few months, only 299.99 =DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

Welcome to the new Houston thread and the home of the Poop founded by AirbrushKing and Poop. Give us a "like" and share Poop and this thread with your friends.

This thread is the hub for Houston TX smash scene. If you are in the need for some smash or just wanna hang out and chat with the Houston scene, make a post here and we can get it on. As for tournaments/smash fests, the main page (here) is where upcoming events are posted. The Poop series is Houston's main tournament series so count on a Poop event every other month starting in late 2014 or early 2015.

If you have any questions or comments about anything, please post in the thread or Houston's VG Network on FB and someone will get back to you. We are all pretty friendly here so please don't feel like you shouldn't post here

*Houston Tier List*

The Houston Tier list is based off of a program (created by the legendary UTD Zac) that takes Challonge bracket data and forms a list of top players. The program grades a player on their overall tournament performance, per tourney, then averages all their tournament grades together using a weighted system for a final score. More recent tournaments are weighed more heavily than older ones; they’ll impact a player’s final score more strongly. Tournaments are also weighed on number of participants: larger tournaments are worth some amount more than smaller ones. For more information, go here.

In order to be on the Houston Tier List, you must have attended at least 2 events and you MUST use the same name/gamer tag in every tournament. After 60 days of inactivity, your score will begin to deteriorate. The Houston Tier List will be redone after every 3 major Houston monthly events or every 2 months.

8.Sync has a 51.1% performance ratio based off of 4 tournaments
9.Nidak has a 46.3% performance ratio based off of 4 tournaments
10.Zro has a 44.1% performance ratio based off of 2 tournaments

After every Poop/yearly regional event or any Houston smash 4 event, the results will be posted here for history and Houston Tier List purposes. After a few years, go back through theses results and you will see how our city and its players have grown. It is truly an amazing sight to see.

Imagine playing Pichu/GW/Mewtwo in melee or Ivysaur/Ganon/Wolf in Brawl. These characters suck, right? So instead of sitting down and creating ways to get good with them or ways to reduce how bad they are perceived, you look for another option.......a lazy option. Instead of accepting that these characters suck and pushing forward/striving to be the best with that character and giving hope to fellow low tier mains, you look for another option.....a easy option. You end up choosing P(oisoned) M(elee). A garbage mod (not a game) made for babies by babies who cannot handle Brawl and Melee.

Project Trash stands for laziness, entitlement and thus shuns hard work and commitment. Why work when you can mod? That should be the slogan on PM. Anyways, the elitism shown by its TOs and players is toxic (god i am sick of this accurate word) and the continual support for this game has help ruin brawl and soon smash 4 (when the smash 4 version on PM comes out). Besides all of that, Nintendo has literally asked Apex and other events (i assume CEO) to drop PM from their line-up if they want support because the game is causing cancerous growths on all who see/hear/smell/eat it.
