So Bino leads a gang, right? A gang that could be the scumteam? Him and that bull-dog guy, probably. I'm looking up the comics now to get a grasp on characters.

My character is certainly a lot more townie than his, so there's that.

Directed at this.

Joey is hard to grasp as scum from a flavor standpoint.

Fox is nowhere near that.

Rex is reaching and he barely shows up in the comic.

Only character who is a jerk is Bino.

Alright well I didn't actually know the members of the gang until now.

I wouldn't say it's reaching to say that Bino and Rex could be the 2 man scumteam. Rex shows up quite frequently actually (or at least, no less than some of the other claimed characters), and Bino clearly uses Rex as a henchmen of sorts in a lot of cases.

Either way, we can move on from flavour as it doesn't help us now, but this would be a good thing to remember toMorrow if a mass claim occurs.

I'm going to bed in a bit, so I want to say this now:

Tery, John, Glyph, Gustave: Assume I flip town for the purpose of this question: If I am lynched toDay, assure me that the lynch toMorrow will be between Red Ryu and T-Block. One of them is scum and was targeted by TPK's night action. I want to know that people aren't going to be influenced by some dumb **** that one of them tries to pull.

thinking about glyph being scum, but i really can't see it. my read on tg7 still holds strong, plus he replaced in with a bold post against me... no reason for scum to do that in a game with as many lurkers as we have. not enough to clear glyph alone, but i'm pretty sure he isn't scum

scum is either RR/gustave or RR/tery. RR/john is still a possibility, but given RR's motivation for lynching john (to prevent D3 from being RR vs TB), i think if john were scum in a bussing plan they would have had john push back against RR instead of on kantrip. tery did mention he would pick RR over kantrip, but i don't remember any real follow-through on that... gonna have to reread for that. gustave said flat out no to lynching RR. gonna have to reread their interactions too.

Okay, here's what needs to go down.

First off, NOBODY VOTE until we know who the lynch is for toDay. RR and I can crossvote if there's anyone who isn't convinced that one of us is scum.

Mass claim needs to happen... here's how I think it should go.

RR states what he thinks my role is.
RR claims.
T-block claims.
Terywj claims.
Gustave claims.

RR gets one chance to tell us right now if he lied about his VT claim. I don't want him to be able to see that nobody claimed role X and come in at the end with "i lied to mess with scum guys, i'm actually role X".

T-block's role is a lost mason or a very weak cop that confirms a player as a character and as town, aka he is looking for Peanut.

Most likely Terra because he is looking for Peanut whom Terra was looking for before they started dating.

I caught the crumbs that implied it right away and didn't out it because no one else caught it. T-Block is correct that the only reason I caught it is because I read the comics.

I couldn't find any peanuts >=(

JTB, you're being silly. The gambit was hella obvious, but going along with it or going against it isn't a scum tell in itself. Do you really think there's a higher chance of scum being among those who opposed it? If you're going to throw out a daycop claim like that at the start of D1 where some reasonable players will pick up on it, you gain information on experience of other players rather than alignment, no?

You should be able to tell much more about how the target of the gambit reacts though, especially since this is apparently his first game. I don't think his reaction was tainted by the posts of others to such an extent that we can gain no information at all from it. Having a daycop call you scum right off the bat is pretty scary even without votes to back it up, especially for a new player. Yet in your 116, you dismiss any information gained on TG7 in favour of casting suspicion on pretty much everyone else. Why?

So, JTB, are you able to tell anything about TG7?

I don't really like how you followed up on this gambit at all.

At first I thought that was him implying he was Peanut which is why I thought he was town, on the flip side he is a role that works as someone who was looking for Peanut.

My role is exactly as I said it was, there is no difference from my previous claim.
