Okay guys I think I found the perfect hitstun code and it's not 1.4 - The problem with 1.4 is hitstun will only effect attacks that puts you into twirl/tumbling animation.


It's 1.3, I found a variable constant that could manipulate hitstun. I'll get back to you guys after some testing.

Oh it definitely does, but the problem is that certain "stunned" animations won't be affected by the code.


Edit: Personally I think the stale attack system needs to go, because comboing with certain characters become difficult and you can't really keep in track of the last 10 attacks you've use constantly.

EDIT2: You're definitely stunned but the major problem is that you can air dodge out of ANY attack

(So that's the problem with the code, disable being able to Airdodge also and Hitstun 1.4 is perfect.)

EDIT: So is it possible to use the old and thw new code together or are they changing the same thing??

I was think the 1.3 didnt add hitstun it disabled the mechanic to AD during the hitstun

unless you guys change the code yourselves by finding whats different and testing it yourselves, id wait until PW fixes it. I just PMed him

I'm using both codes together right now (with the value set at 3F20000 - the upper value he recommended) and it's very 64 esque, only with DI. Very interesting.

did you/can you change the value of 1.3 or did you jut use 1.3 and 1.4 with the modifier you said?

OMFG PLAYING WITH BOTH CODES IS PHUCKING AMAZING

CAN TRULY BE CALLED BRAWL+ NOW

I PLAYED ONE MATCH AND I AM SO AMAZED

i used 1.3 and 1.4 together and i have 1.4 set to the second setting PW mentioned


NEW BRAWL+ STANDARD:
S-Canceling(takes skill but is very easy to do still)
No Tripping(OBVIOUSLY)
HITSTUN 1.3+1.4(together this is this ****)

Okay I was playing w/ both 1.4 and 1.3 on, and i noticed that falcos and dededes chaingrab could both be DI'd at 0%. Not sure if it was the 1.4 code or a combination, I was using 3F200000. I am leaving somewhere, someone please test this out. I like the feel of the hitstun.

I had to do a bit of testing for some of the bug reports for the last code, and that was the code I sent Kupo.:laugh: Thanks for fixing it for me.(can someone get around to getting this into the threads that the bugged code has been posted into? I don't understand, how does the hitstun code kill 3D's and Falco's CGs?

im not seeing falcos CG gone but i did see ddds is gone when i was playing with these codes, MaD,gravity modifier 1.165, DD, lcancel, and damage modifier, DDD when he did his downthrow every character fell to the floor now i turned everything off but hitstun and down they just go out of range? but like i said on both falco could cg..

wow alot of those codes arent needed

all that is need is S-Cancel, Hitstun 2.0, and No Tripping

im stuck on this, i wish this was how brawl was originally,

this make brawl+ way, way, way, way, way, way, way, way better than plain brawl,

the characters are even more balanced from what I've seen so far, MK has combos but he can be combo'ed also, and CAPTAIN FALCON ***** AGAIN!!!!

Request for CG explanation seconded.
Well, with my current code which i used 3F1, this puts all throws in the tumble. This means you can DI down away and tech. Im not sure what will happen with a lesser hitstun one. i am testing now
