Agreed with Ray, I think he's been doing very well lately and has improved.

A2ZOMG I'm hoping to get a little bump this time around. I think, despite not being able to play a ton in the last couple months, I've actually been able to improve a bit. Had a good showing at a local here and took down some good players, including AZ's best Mewtwo in bracket, Link in bracket, and Mario in MM. (Wish I could attend more so I could match up with some PR.)

Here's a few vids I've put up lately that aren't by any means perfect, but I think demonstrate some good gameplay. I've included multiple matches for some, so the vids are a bit less manicured than others here, so you get to see my misinputs and errors as well. I've included a long set vs Gungnir where I thought I performed reasonably well. Granted, these are all on WiFi, so take them with a grain of salt (for good or for ill).

Just checking in, haven't been able to attend as much since october but the last times I went I did well. Risen on the pr as solo dorf, had more close sets oats, consistently beating some solid players who used to regularly beat me and do well vs our best.

Just letting you know I only haven't been to much recently but when I attended I did well, I can pull up brackets but the most recent footage never made it to youtube lol.

I won't be at much until januaray, when I attend at least one next month though I might not use Ganon though to see how I do. Once I get a character I like up to qhere I want I will use more dorf again, as I still don't intend to drop him.

Hopefully I'll be in discord again soon just been very busy!

So yeah I did really well before using more characters, but rather than keep my spot I thimk it's best to list me as inactive next update as I'm going all bayo for awhile I believe. Personally I think I could do better with Ganon, but inconsistency in his character design has really hurt my drive to use him and has for awhile now. I have continued playing him regardless but it makes more sense to look elsewhere, really I love using Ganon but I haven't had it in me to practice him for awhile, mainly just playing bracket. I like the consistent nature of characters that have better tools, I believe there's more depth in a character like Bayonetta as wellvwhich feels more suited to me. I will use him more again in the future, but as for when I can't say.

So as of now I have dropped Ganon, and if I decide to use him in bracket again I'll keep you guys updated. I'll still be involved in the community, and probably ditto/friendly as dorf otherwise, but he won't be seeing bracket for a bit. Just thought it was fair to mark me as inactive as it's been about a month now, even at the arcadian/cb I last used Ganon at I hadn't been using him at all, just stuck with what I knew lol

Play the character you're having the most fun with, not the one you think you'll win more as.
It would be cool, tough, if Tournament Placings gave you a money-bonus if you place good with a lower ranked character. Sort of like betting.
The lower the rank, the bigger the bonus.

Finished 3rd in singles. Unfortunately lost to the #2 player in my region's PR twice. I have issues with my neutral game against him, so I hope I can get good watching this.
Got a bad position in doubles, too. I wasn't playing with my official doubles partner, so we didn't have that synergy, you know.

Ray_Kalm Avoiding using Ganon to learn match ups with Bayonetta, only used him in one set since picking her up. Making an active effort not to use him, until hopefully later this year when I'm more satisfied with my Bayonetta since I would like to use him in some matchups/vs some players. I might've used him this week too if it was for first if I'm honest, as of now though he's a fairly out of practice cp.

So you guys wouldn't be wrong in moving me to inactive for now.

If it isn't obvious enough, I much prefer Doubles over Singles. Though pretty soon I may put way more time into my 1v1-play. So there may be ranked singles matches on smashladder coming from me in the near future. I still feel weak on the tech skill aspect, I need to dig into resources text channel on discord more. Speaking of which, for those who want to escape/punish pressure on your shield from beneath a platform, consider practicing Shield Dropping.
I made a stage specifically for practicing it(Likes+Retweets really helps)!

Since I've been getting better at it, my next step is trumping which I'm very weak at. There is a stage for practicing that as well.

I updated the Shield Dropping Stage, and included a Ledge Trumping Stage as well(Go to Training Mode & spawn 3-4 CPUs).
I feel that it's very important to capitalize on moments where you happen to get a trump and lead it to a Bair or Dair(BOTH END STOCKS CRAZY EARLY).
