If there is a FeMC Smash skin (which seems incredibly likely now), they'll have to show her in the outfit before we get the Joker Gameplay trailer. Nintendo won't skip showing the skin and Atlus won't let Nintendo show the FeMC Joker skin first .
My speculation/worry, assuming ATLUS is so insisted that they reveal this new girl first before Smash possibly does (assuming this girl IS the supposed "Jane" alt). When does Nintendo usually have their directs to advertise Spring releases/updates?
Same. If she IS a Joker alt; then that means her canonical abilities would have to be identical to Joker's that you can use one over the other and still achieve the same thing.
I kinda doubt she'd come with like 20 outfits, this isn't Dead Or Alive...

Maybe, and this is just me spit balling, she has a different method of helping others. Perhaps she has a power that would enable people to escape the sloth of society and take their own action against the problems they are dealing with? Of course, that sort of behavior could backfire if the person in question has to take big risks to solve said problem. We saw what happened when Makoto tried to take things into her own hands before becoming a PT.
Maybe she comes in at a certain point in the story? The question is tho, would she join up with them after a bit of story, or would she have her own teammates?? I really wonder now what's going on lol.
And both have ponytails?We can't ignore the possibility of her not being the FeMC BUT that there still going to be one.
What I mean by that is, that she might end up being the "Aeon" Confident while there will be an announcement on the 24th that Female Joker will be a thing from the get go.
If that's the case that would explain everything. She is just another social Link, while Female Joker might be an Option to select when you start the game.
Anyways I am rly hyped to get more P5 content since I felt like replaying P5 for the 4th time but stopped myself waiting for P5R. Please don't take too much time to come to the West

No. ATLUS is a just a company they work with, they have no saying on Nintendo's schedules.

I mean, it's not like they held Nintendo at gunpoint and forced them to do what they wanted unless they had yakuzas sicked on them.

I hope so: Meaning if Nintendo/Sakurai want to have their Smash direct that my include this new girl as a Joker alt, then they'll damn do whatever they want without giving a damn if ATLUS gets too pushy on their Persona content in Smash.

Assuming she IS the "Jane" alt: If Joker implements Arsene a lot in his moveset, then she will likely also get Arsene or someone similar. Whether it be a female version ala Orpheus, or even Arsene himself if P5R is some FES kind off follow-up.

The persona is the easiest to be different somehow. The fighting style tho is the one that'll be the same. She would use knives too, etc.
Possibly. For some reason I have this pre-conceived notion that ATLUS is just as stingy and over-protective of their IP ala Square Enix in that they micro-manage anything and everything about how their franchises are represented. Granted I probably don't have any factual evidence on that, nor the idea they'd make Nintendo delay a Smash direct just so they reveal stuff first.
I used to think this way. Then I switched to 'option select thinking', where you expect the worst and wait for the universe to prove you wrong, giving you something good. It does wonders for your outlook on life
