So I havent had access to the internet on my pc. I'm using my PS3 to post. I got SFIV when it came out and I'm loving it. Been playing it non stop. If you have a ps3 and you want to play me then my tag is EmblemLord.

Anyway I wanted to say that I no longer have a wii or brawl. I traded them in for SFIV and cash. And I don't regret it. I'm loving my ps3 and SFIV too. It's no secret that I hate Nintendo and dislike Brawl so it made sense to trade in something I don't care about for something I knew I would love.

Not sure if I will ever go to a brawl tourney again. There is nothing for me in this game. SFIV is a new beggining for me. I have no intention of being a wise teacher this time. Pouring my energy into the Marth community and watching it become the most organized and knowledgeable of the character boards has been gratifying, but now I want to be EL the competitor, not EL the sage. I will still check on the boards though and respond to pms and the like.

This saddens me.

You have some just reasons for leaving brawl, for I too have dropped it. You took us a long way. You got recognition, respect, and power. We are, as we all ways will be, the most organized, elegant, and mature boards on Smash World Forums. And its because of you.

If I had to choose one word to describe my feelings towards the growth and maturation of this community then it would have to be...magnificent. Simply magnificent.

Steel and Pierce - I can't help, but feel like I have let the two of you down. Sorry if I dissappointed you both. I want you to know that both of you have made me proud in your endevours as players and as researchers. Both of you have completely surpassed me in skill and knowledge. A teacher is at his happiests when his students go beyond him. I know the Marth community is in great hands with the two of you.

You taught me how to play this game, i was lost up until late May where i contacted you on aim for some wifi. You took me under your wing for months teaching me Smash to get me where I am now. I'd say if i never talked to you i doubt i'd still be playing this game, let alone made an impact on this community.

You aren't letting me down, you're going to what you enjoy doing. All i can do is say thanks for being a mentor and friend to me.

You're going to **** in SF, keep in touch and I may join you in that community as well.

I know its true that you can't get good at the game without playing it but the knowledge you taught us really gave me some of the tools I needed to progress to this point. It was a pleasure to have lurked on the Marth boards until about 900 posts, and to have read such good guides from EL. SFIV is good, I don't have a PS3 tho, but at least you aren't leaving for Halo 3 (overrated genre, overrated game, overrated system).

I agree that Steel and Pierce have done a good job, but once again, my respects to the original contributor Emblem Lord.

I must say... everyone who didn't see this coming is blind or ********. I guess it's good that you did it, though. No reason to force yourself to play a game that you hate. Hopefully you'll still be around a lot, because we'll be losing a lot if you aren't. I don't think anyone has had a bigger impact on a single character/community than you have, and we all thank you for it. I'll continue to use what you've taught me to improve, because I at least still love this game ^_^.

Technically I quit months ago. It's just that now without my wii my ties to Brawl and the community are severed pretty much although I will still post from time to time. I have no idea if I will remain active in the SBR.

I honestly don't like it very much.
