I mean, it's possible that at some point in development, around the Gematsu leak, Chrom could've been playable but they decided against it. Maybe his moveset transferred to Lucina in favor of another girl to the roster. It does really hurt Gematsu imo, but that is a possibility.

While this was completely unexpected for more-or-less everyone, I have to let it be known that I am quite pleased with the Robin and Lucina reveals today (Chrom isn't listed on the official site, therefore he is not playable, guys and girls). The reason for that is that Gematsu is at best incomplete, and not gospel (that leak was a complete burden to me). This leaves highly requested characters (King K. Rool, Mewtwo, etc.) with more of an opportunity, which should be great news to hear in anyone's book. With that being said, don't be so disappointed about Shulk; Let me again say that his chances haven't gone down any, and that he is still very likely to be playable in SSBIV. I near expect him in certainty, to be honest. I believe that it's just a matter of time.

Sure there are questionable things about Sal's tipper's claims but I won't jump to conclusions just yet and either wait and see what the next two months before the 3DS Japanese version comes out has in store.

With that said, I don't think Chorus Kids are dead either. Things in game development can change all the time. Like I said, it's possible that Sal's legit and Chrom could've been playable around the time of the Gematsu leak. It's also possible that he just had a few lucky guesses with Mega Man and Wii Fit Trainer and rode off of that. Anything's possible. Especially with Masahiro trollmeister Sakurai.

Actually, almost all of the threads are doing well... aside from Chrom of course. And the Chorus Kids are going to be in hot water now.

I told everyone the salt would be minimal, we are an AWESOME thread group here. Besides, Shulk is a top 5 most wanted character in Japan, I still think he gets in, and Robin looked awesome!

Robin actually makes me a little worried for Isaac (my third most wanted) as he essentially fills the role of "mage with a sword."

Captain Falcon was so non-nonchalant about everything, while Chrom and Lucina were having a super hard time fighting. It's funny because Falcon is just a racer.
