What I actually found most interesting about todays reveal is how they chose falcon to be with robin/lucina despite them basically having nothing in common. Considering shulk's chances are still VERY likely even without the leak what veteran do you think he could be paired up with? Imagine the hype if it was ness or lucas

Even IF Shulk doesn't make it in on disk, there is always DLC. We just need to make some noise, and find our true Monado!

Captain Falcon was so non-nonchalant about everything, while Chrom and Lucina were having a super hard time fighting. It's funny because Falcon is just a racer.

But you forgot that he's also a friken Bad-ass Bounty Hunter.

I never realized that the Monado 2 had a different design than the original. That's pretty neat.

Thanks! I'd have taken it off so it wouldn't obstruct the shirt, but since I wear it all the time, I feel so naked without it making me top-heavy.

I would love for Ness and Lucas to be involved in Shulk's eventual reveal. Maybe Mewtwo, as well... I think Shulk matches up well with him.

I got up early this morning expecting shulk, but I saw captain falcon and sakurai delivering a blow to gematsu.

Shulk is in regardless of the leak.So many signs pointing to it.

This thread is great. Even though Shulk didn't show up, no one is acting as if anything negative occurred. Plus, no trolls or anything ever really show up.

On another note, almost done with my second run of Xenoblade.

Hopefully Melia shows up in X and has a more positive life after everything that happened to her. Seems like the most tragic character.

EarthBound and Xenoblade are both in my Top 3 favorite games of all time, so I would love that.

Fiora to due well Sakurai loves his spoilers & she would work perfectly as a character that has customisation due her different drones in her Face body or she has her homs body as an alternate costume

Not hating on Fire Emblem, but if that can get 4 reps, due the sole fact Awakening has a fanbase on its own, I don't see why we Xenoblade fans couldn't get 1 rep, because for a niché game with zero marketing & limited supply, we made a very big splash, are extremely vocal & have a bright future to grow into a well respected Nintendo franchise because of Xenoblade Chronicles X

Don't be so sure. Remember, Gematsu was what suggested DLC in the first place... If it was wrong about something as reasonable as Chrom, it could very easily have gone wrong there too.

Don't be so sure. Remember, Gematsu was what suggested DLC in the first place... If it was wrong about something as reasonable as Chrom, it could very easily have gone wrong there too.

But it also got Wii fit trainer and Mii Fighters right, so it could really go both ways. Alot of us here don't only believe in Shulk because of Gematsu though.

Like I said, I am pretty confident that Shulk is in regardless, and I've always felt character DLC was likely. It is what it is regardless, if Xenoblade has taught me anything it's that we don't need divine leaks and prophets, we live in this thread day to day! We laugh, we win, we lose, but no matter what we do it together!

I would think that if Shulk was revealed alongside a returning vet, it would be Ness and/or they would announce Mewtwo because y'know... uhmm...

Robin and Lucina were good today BUT Capt. Falcon Steal the Show (and is not EVEN newcomer).

I want still want Shulk in the game. It my most wanted and the most desired character to be in Smash Bros for many many reason (Project Rainfall said all). The music and environment its amazing, it can't be missed on Smash.

Never played Xenoblade but I can respect everyone's desire for him to be in.

Now that Gematsu's severely wounded if not dead, I can finally look at the characters involved as more than just "oh that guy was leaked whatever".
