I don't know if I'm the only one that feels this way, but...
I don't really feel confident about Shulk being the announced character on Monday. I would LOVE for him to be in, but I don't want to get too hyped just for my expectations to be crushed.
I want to believe it's Shulk. But I'm really wary after how disappointing the E3 reveals were. (Miis were blah, Palutena was cool, but Pac-Man was the only one that really interested me.)

I pretty much guessed the E3 lineup, much to my mostly-disappointment.

So I'm feeling hopeful I won't be disappointed on #MonadoMonday.

But Monolith tweets, it being unlikely Chorus Chroms would take up 3 minutes, and it being more likely Sakurai's chance to show off Xenoblade content, I'm feeling confident.

But mostly it's that it's all hype for me at this point, so I may as well put all my eggs in the Shulkamania basket.

Well, if it makes you feel any better. There was nothing to go by as far as the E3 reveals were concerned aside from the Gematsu leak, but no one knew who the exact announcements would be...more so, just had characters in mind to look out for. Same thing could be said for Monday, but pieces to the puzzle are just adding up in Shulk's favor, so people are confident in their hype for once.

I agree it's most likely Shulk at this point, but why would the Chorus Kids or Chrom be unlikely to have a 3 minute trailer?

@ Weeman Well, you're right that I can't say for sure. I just find Chrom unlikely to get 3 minutes since what all can be shown? We already know a lot of FE stuff, and unless his moveset is more extensive than Palutena's, I don't see it.

Chorus Men could be different though. They could be unusual enough, and the only RH content we have so far is the Sneaky Spirit. So that's a possibility, but I dunno, I'm just not feeling them for this one.

I will say that we should rule out time for arguments supporting Shulk. If an intro is included, a decent amount of moves are displayed, and you throw in another segment at the end, any character could have a 3 minute video really, no matter how popular they are.

If any version, I'd say Wii U version. Honestly don't want to see the stage having a boss though, personally. I'd much rather have it where characters could fight a boss/antagonist figure from their respective games at the end of an adventure-like mode before fighting a Smash Bros. boss like Master Hand/Tabuu. I just hope they don't go overboard with hazards/bosses in the stages :/

Metal Face would be fun though.

Yeah, I considered that too. Well, they had someone like Petey Piranha for Subspace in Brawl...Magma Bowser could also work (kinda like how Bowser could be a racer but Magma Bowser is a stage hazard in Mario Kart). There's ways around it.

Spread support before he's confirmed on Monday (Like what my signature says).
The purpose of a support list is to show how much people a newcomer can get before he/she's potentially confirmed, I think that's nulling it.

Mhmm, I have to question the integrity of any people who jumped on to the supporter list bandwagon only after the character trailer announcement and Monolith retweet.

But then again I don't really see a need for a supporter list in the first place. You should know if you support a character, there doesn't need to be some registry to prove it. That could just be me though.

You're not wrong, but at this point in time does it actually matter? All of us Shulk superfans'll settle down in our subforum as soon as he's got one, and everyone who doesn't want to stick around'll go their separate ways.

Bandwagoners are bandwagoners, but a problem I don't really notice

Besides, I'm really looking forward to a subforum where my Bronados and I can discuss Shulk, since all of our discussions I participated in pre-#MonadoMonday are some of my favorites on the boards ever!
