Amazing interview The thing about pp i like is he seems well awear of using his mind to accomplish certain goals in his life and i agree that to unlock that potential of the mind you need motivation. And i can also relate about how the smash community can help you as a person and thats just another benefit and reason why i love smash. But i feel like alot of marths need to goo back to there roots like ken azen and mew2king 07 and kinda get into there heads and there way of thinking before they can understand how to push marth
Overall great interview i would like to learn more about this

Yeah, I thought it was disappointing how he only talked about top 8.

Other than that, another great podcast. Interesting how many top players still believe in Marth.
the irony with that is that mango/pp still believe in marth however m2k, the guy that has actually had a major role in bringing marth to where he is in the metagame, does not.

Yeah, kinda odd. You'd think players would push their characters, I was expecting PP to put Falco 2nd (since Fox is.. Fox).. not... 4th.

And is it more of M2K not believing in Marth or him not believing in his own Marth?

As a rule of thumb, all the top players downgrade their own character(s). That's just how it is.

His tier list was very similar to mine, the only difference being that I have Falco as 3rd and Sheik as 4th. Good stuff =)

I play fox/falco/marth and I think marth is the best, then sheik, then fox, then falco

But theoretically id say Roy is the best, then marth, then falco

Roflcopter... Armada ranked Jiggs as the best character. Or at least he did before Pound V...

As of the creation of the last tier list, Zhu was the only top pro who would admit he thinks his main is the best character.

Whoever has the most far-reaching move with a disjointed hitbox is the theoretical best character.

Don't feed the troll.
I'm not trolling. If marth is the best character because if he spaces correctly he will never get hit, than roy is infinitely better than him because he can do a better job at not getting hit because hes faster lol. Following mangos theory it doesnt really matter if marths attacks are stronger

Man to bad the game about who can hit harder and get hit less

The game's not really about who can hit harder, there's a certain threshold for moves that can kill at a comfortable percent, and once you're past that your character's got a kill move. Lots of kill moves are faster/slower or more/less situational, but a move that can kill anyone at 60% isn't necessarily better than a move that can kill you at 100%, when there are many other concepts to be considered, the very concepts that crush is talking about.
