Harry Potter And the Deathly Mafia - Peeves/Mafia WIN!

Don't end the day yet by voting off frozenflame. Wait until we have talked a lot more. We need discussion, or else today will be a weird waste.
Day 1 we no lynched, and then Day 2 is basically going to be another no lynch type scenario because we are lynching someone who was already killed. However, in the process, we negated the mafia night kill AND have cleared Handorin. This is a pretty good trade for us. But it will be minimized if we simply end Day 2 quickly by lynching the cleared mafia.
We are all going to lynch him today anyways, so you dont need to prove anything by tacking your vote onto frozenflame. So please, just answer questions and keep the discussion moving. I know that I have asked things of maybe five other players, including Yaya, Mentosman, Niiro, Smashman, and Marshy.

Yep and I know where to go to get the cure to depetrify Superstar. The cure is Mandrake Roots I think and it is in Professor Sprout's greenhouse/classroom (I believe they are the same, right?). Might wanna also get a Herbology book which should one be in Sprout's room or in the Library.
Agreed. Somebody has pissed Firenze off because they must've entered the forest and did something to piss him off. They might as well fess up.
Not so sure about Superstar being cured tomorrow with or without a cure, when the Basilisk petrified somebody they wouldn't be able to be cured except if they were given the cure for petrification. But then again, this is a mafia game and things change. So it can be possible that Superstar can be cured tomorrow. But it never hurts to be safe.
Just to add on to this, did you also see if anybody else besides Superstar enter the Girl's Bathroom/Chamber? And I know this is kinda off topic, but why did Salazar place the secret entrance to the Girl's Bathroom of all places? Me thinky that Salazar likes to wear a pedobear costume and hides in the Girl's Bathroom and surprises them. Dang it, that's what the real secret is! The Chamber of Secrets is where he hides his Pedobear costume!
Superstar, why did you vote on me? I haven't done anything to deserve it except for me being inactive for a while (for reasons I already explained). And it's ridiculous to joke vote on day 2. We need to start getting serious nao.
Huh, Frozen is back. Well, at least Frozen is ****ed cuz we can just save him for later since he can't really do anything now. We know that he is mafia and he can't role claim. The only problem with him still being here is the fact that he could try to vote on his teammates to make them look Town.

This brings up something interesting. Numbers and Ronike did not see each other's faces in the foe glass. Is this because they are aligned together? If so, that would confirm that Yaya and Mentosman are not aligned together. Or perhaps Yaya and Mentosman saw each other because they were the first to use the item? And who was the third person in that room who whispered "the best defense is a good offense?"

Anyway, I'm now even more certain that either mentos or Yaya is scum, even though it's going off of flavor. Last night, I explicitly saw noone in the foe glass on the teacher's desk. To me, this implies that the iem is functional, otherwise I don't think it would be mentioned so prominently.

When you died I went through everything you said, and you had a self-proclaimed "wack" idea (who says your wack? they gonna get smacked) about Mediocre's being hit by the Cruciatus Curse. You asked him if you heard their voice. Now that Niiro has replaced Mediocre, we can get an answer from him and then you can try your idea.

Obviously as tom said take our time with this day even though we know our lynch. Obviously assuming we have another protective role they should be on hando tonight.
Also, smashman, we most definitely can NOT save frozen for later. He was unable to use his ability, and we should make sure with him coming back he can't use it. Janitors can be very hard on the town, so it's imperative he is our lynch today.

Since it appears that nobody else who is online is saying anything and that the people who I asked questions of have not yet checked in for Day 2, I thought it would put down a lot of my thoughts and some discussion. Some of this is organized questions that I asked a bit earlier.
@Mentosman: With the new foeglass development with Numbers and Ronike, how do you now feel about what it means about your alignment and Yaya's alignment? Obviously, he has claimed Harry Potter, an important and probably town character, which gave him a lot of leeway and basically saved his butt yesterday. You saw each other in the glass! But Ronike and Numbers didn't!
@KevinM: You have also been pretty brief. In TMNT mafia you were very thorough and, although town suspected you for it (especially for backing me up even though I was also town), it really was the proper play and you did a great job of being pro-town. In this game, however, you have played very differently. You even stated when I asked you, that you really felt you had no obligation to post.
@Superstar: It is both curious and suspicious that you cannot speak today, and can only vote. We think it comes from the Basilisk's stare, and it would make sense that you will be able to talk tomorrow, because not being able to talk for a day is already a lot, but more than one day would be a hella lot. I doubt that you need to be cured by an item. In fact, an item was used just now to revive the deaths of Handorin and Frozenflame and apparently your stone status was not revoked. So I bet it just goes away tomorrow.
@Marshy: Coupled with Superstar in that you went into the Girl's Bathroom; did you go further into the Chamber of Secrets? Why or why not? And if you did, why were you not turned to stone? Also, do you have any insight or opinions?
@Ronike: Very aggressive player. Went after Omis a lot yesterday and now I am left wondering where you will go from here.
@Niiro: We really do need to hear input from you, and a lot of it. Medi basically gave us nothing at all of his opinions and you have yet to post. Were you crucio'd again last night? I would doubt that you were twice, but its possible. I assume someone must have been, though. Please join in and speak your mind freely and thoughtfully. We need to get you down on record as having SOME stances.
@karthik_king: You are another player that I am interested in not just seeing your votes but hearing your opinions. If you would, please take the time to make a detailed post about who you find suspicious and why, and what you think we should do today.
@junglefever: In going through the roster, I found that I really don't have you thumbed for anything at all. You have basically been under my radar and I don't know why. This is very interesting, as I wonder if anyone else feels the same way or if I have just not been attributing the right attention to you.

Dumbledore's situation is a great one. He is a doctor who can both be protected by another town power role (such as a bodyguard, also a watcher if one is out there should be on him, which would yield great information), while he can choose to protect Harry Potter or anyone else he sees fit.
Frozenflame most certainly should be our lynch today, but I really would like to get a lot out on the record and discussed. I think that we should take up the whole time, really, or as much as we can before we become unproductive, and then lynch frozenflame when the deadline nears.
@Yaya: You have not checked in for Day 2, and as Harry Potter you might possibly have something important to say. Do you have any new input, from either things other people have said or night exploration or actions or suspicions that you have? How do you feel about the foeglass issue? You and Mentos saw each other N0 in the glass, and you insisted against flavorhunting, but now Numbers and Ronike were in the room together and did not see each other in the glass. Do you have any input on that, or how you want to see discussion go today, or any ideas? What really drew me to you yesterday, besides the foeglass, was that you were also so brief in every post, providing very little of your opinions or insight. You did say that you are going to be detailed now.

Tom ill respond to you when I get home (at work right now), but as for super being unable to talk, I agree it will probably be only for the day as a silencer-esque effect. Also, for firenze, I would assume someone must have visited the forbidden forest, as I'm not sure where else he would come from.

I am reading through more to think about if I need to @smashman, @macman, @numbers, or @junglefever, smashman, but for now just play the game...for the four of you: are you suspicious of anyone? are you leaning towards any certain people? dont you have any questions to ask anyone?
I've was suspicious of Omis pretty much the entire D1, but Ronike simply beat me to the post. It made me even more suspicious that he said he NEEDED to live D1. However, with FF coming up mafia, I've backed down from my suspicions, and am currently at square 1.
Right now, I want to know who went into the Forbidden Forest. Centuars only interact with humans if they are bothered IIRC. So something or someone must have triggered Firenze's appearance. I don't know if they are scum, but it's a good place to start the day.

He was. I recieved a painful curse which had infacted, blocked me out.
I'm not too sure if this will answer the questions you posed, but yesterday, I was poking around and got the Maruder's map, a one time use item, so mafia, won't get it by killing me.
It reveals the position of all the night actions (like where everyone went). Should I post this? I don't want any mafia benifiting from it.

Well, after thinking about it, I am starting to think that FF would probably be the best choice for today. If they manage to kill another power role and FF is alive, they could hide it. Then Mentosman is up there in my list. Yaya's claim as HP makes me wonder if there could be any rivals, enemies, etc. that could possibly be town somehow. The only ones who pops into my head as a possibility is Snape and Draco Malfoy. Marshy is on my list considering he's been inactive when he shouldn't be what with Superstar's petrification and all. He was around there when Superstar, so he should know what happened to him. With him being inactive and him being at the Chamber area, it kinda makes things seem suspicious. If not, then Superstar can tell us what happened when he gets unpetrified.

That is actually something I might have kept to myself, because it could be used to dispel lies about who went where if we ended up having some claims like that.

FF we were both in Human Body Mafia, when you were recruited into cult by Pythag? I think we had some big arguments on Day 2 and I wanted to lynch you. Sounds familiar!

I was not able to do much tonight, for I was Crucio'd the moment I left the Great Hall, someone shouted it, but I am not sure who.
As for the Foe Glass, I am fairly sure that if the two did NOT see each other in the glass, then the must have been on the same alignment, while Mentos and I saw eachother.
I thought Flavour was just a way to throw us off, and if it has to me, then M3D is one clever person, for I am now convinced Mentos and I are rivaling alignments.

You could always give somebody the map if you wanted to. You just have to pm M3D about it I think.

I think you should debate giving the item to Dumbledore (Handorin), and if you do, you should do it privately. That way if the mafia have a thief role, they will not know who to steal it from. And then whether you do or don't give it, their possible thief role could be wasted. (The thief idea comes from frozenflame scaring me into thinking Omis is an independent thief who contacted mafia last night :< LOL but im serious).
It could greatly help knowing who went where. Which is why I'm worried you're a nightkill target tonight now that any extra protection would be on Dumbledore, if you decide to use the map on a later day.

Yeah, if Harry Potter was roleblocked n1 after claiming then it can be confirmed that the one using the Cruciatus Curse is mafia.
I can probably find it again, but i don't think any player is really allowed to keep it. I'm not gonna disclose the location for fear of the mafia, but the map activates the night you find it, and you are forced to put it back. >___> also, some players might not even be able to use it, for their character at least are not solemnly sweared that they are up to no good ^_^

Hmm, a suggestion. How does everybody feel about a roleclaim? Yay or nay? The idea has been buzzing around in my head. We already know that Handorin is town and FF is mafia so they wouldn't have to.
