Yeesh, that article is badly written. Oh well, par for the course for games journalism I guess.
True, then again, these are the same people who give a 9/10 to anything playable.

As a whole games journalism is pretty lulzy, anything articles giving hardly any information to a 7/10 being considered a poor score.

But ****ty games journalism is a topic for anything thread, as for now PARTY HARD.

Gotta agree with IYM!, that was very fun to look at. That would make for a killer poster.

25 years and nothing to celebrate it with?

For shame Nintendo.
Well, given that for Mario they released a half-***** port I'm not sure I want to see what they would do for Zelda.

Regardless, it is one of their flagship franchises. I'm surprised they didn't even give out a poster or anything.

Christ do I want that artwork as a poster.

here is the "making of" of that incredible artwork

Wow. I don't really have any other words to describe that. I wonder how fast that is sped up, because at that speed and still coming to almost 15 minutes is pretty amazing. The art looked to be nearly complete at about the halfway point but with the addition of minor details, I give major props to the artist.

In commemoration of the 25th anniversary of Zelda, I spent 250 dollars on a Zelda wall scroll, two collectable gorons, and a rare desk-sculpture of the Skull Kid.

... No, I dont have my priorities straight, but my room looks really cool. ;)

Wow, I didn't see this thread on the day for some reason. >.> Shame on me.
Anyways, I spent the day by playing through Majora's Mask and going through all of my Zelda related books/magazines. Great way to spend my day. (:
Unfortunate that all we prematurely recieved was Skyward Sword being released in November...but what can you do? It's Nintendo, after all.

I think it would have been nice for them to release a collection of all Zelda games, sans TP.

I'm sure if they can fit LoZ, AoL, OoT, MM and a WW demo on a Game Cube disk they could probably fit a majority of the LoZ games onto a Wii disk.

That's why I downloaded it, but right now I'm on my iPhone and it'd take me a while to upload it. :(

I think a decent zelda fan should know almost every character on that picture. xD I knew most of them, but they were all put in the same style, so I just don't know for some of them.

But, that is the coolest thing I've seen in quite some time.

I just noticed, is Tetra not in the picture? xD One of my friends(who looooves the Wind Taker) pointed it out when I showed it to him, and I thought he was paranoid until I looked myself.

And I'm a tiny bit curious as to what they plan on doing. I mean, usually this kind of thing isn't too exciting, but you never know.

Neither Tetra, Sheik, or any other incarnation of Zelda or Link are present. Why? Cause they're at the top. We only need to see one Link and Zelda. Unless you count Baby Link, Fierce Deity Link, and Dark Link at the bottom, but that tier is different than every other tier on the scroll.

I'm hoping the 25th project is something awesome.

Like a remake of Link to the Past or something.
lol not gonna happen. The only remake they're gonna celebrate 25 years with is OoT because it is THE Zelda game. Though seeing as how they can't exactly go the Super Mario 25th Anniversary route since there are only three games to put on a disc (and what a scam that would be), I'm guessing they'll do something different.

is that Corel he's using in that video. Excellent music too.... I must admit I was completely fooled. When I first saw the finished product in the OP I had assumed it was a scan of a painting, but as it turns out it was done on computer. Absolutely amazing, god what dedication it must take to do that, just... haha I'm overwhelmed.

But enough about me!

Happy Birthday Zelda.
I played you when you were just 1 years old
In your beautiful golden cartridge.
So as a gift
For your twenty-fifth
I offer you this:
Because (and never forget) it's Dangerous to Go Alone.

I guess so, but what about Malledus? Did they just decide not to because they had Cole and Byrne? Byrne WAS pretty awesome... I can understand Majora not being there, because he's basically summarized with the mask, but Malledus was the endgame boss of the only good zelda handheld I've played since Oracle of Ages...

As fan of the Saga Zelda, I also constructed something with my hands, good alone I modified it, but I liked the result

A lot of time ago, when i was 7 years old, my mom buy my a super saiyan Trunks

I liked this toy much, and more even if I knew the OoT, Link and trunks are a bit similar, like that that it gave to me an idea

Time later I took the desicion and edited to my figure

this toy is old, and need som fixes, i want turnig back to his OoT look (a friend broke the old tunic, so i made it again but with TP style)
