That sounds excellent, actually. When I learned gamemaker I basically just started by following some tutorials and then making my own mini game. I'll take the same approach this time as well, I think I'll make a simple 3D pacman or something, lol. First I need to learn how to make a map, and navigate it.

Actually I'm totally not opposed to making something else, something entirely original actually. It'd give me a chance to get away from the ... how shall I say... the "box" so to speak. A Zelda fan game has tons of expectations and limitations, really. It's gotta be this or that. With something totally original there is literally no limit to the possibilities.

That said, what did you have in mind???

sweet! Blender is where it's at. I've heard that people are making games just with blender, and some programming but I think I'll need an engine like Unity cause my programming skills are kinda lame. But yeah, here's the address:

Hey! Not sure if you got my email. The site's back up :D I've just downloaded Unity and am trying it out. It's of course far more in depth and versatile than game maker, and so much more complicated, lol but I think with enough practice I could figure it out.

well that would be great timing actually, because my test is next week and once it's done, provided I pass, I can finally go back to working on the game. I still haven't paid the hosting yet, waiting on another bill to clear first before I commit to taking it out of my checking account, but it should be okay, just might take a another day or so.

Oh, I've been good. Sadly, animation for Zbrush 4 has not been as helpful as I thought it would be, so I, too, have been on hiatis on the project. However, I think I will bring this project out of hiatis and actually try to finish something, even if it isnt animated yet.
