Holy Crap, I can't imagine how long it will take to get the max rank, that's ridiculous. If they want anyone to get anywhere near close to that, then we should get 10,000 credits per match, lmao.

Well I'm pretty sure Field Marshal is what you need to get if you want to purchase EVERYTHING.

I think the rest is just novelty. Unless they put in more armor.

"Score Attack
Credit earn rates for Gruntpocalypse are being reduced to fall more in line with other modes."

Better abuse that gametype while you still can.

GOOD LORD. I need to hop on that Gruntpocalypse before they ruin it.

Well...

Needle Rifle
5 shots to take down shield 1 to head
DMR
4 shots to take down shield 1 to head

I think both take the same body shots but I'm not sure. Needle Rifle is probably less at 3.

As the Needle Rifle potentially shoots a bit quicker they might be equaled out but I haven't tested them myself. Sometime in the future someone will probably test how long it takes for the bloom to get all the way down from one shot and compare them.

And did the P-Pistol get buffed from Beta? I started using it more like in Invasion and it seems as though like 3-4 shots take down the shield. Good for the ol spray and punch. Or it might be that I just shoot really quick.
At a distance it can take up to 8 shots to the head to kill someone with the DMR, whereas it's almost always 6 with the Needle Rifle plus it subercombines if you miss their head.

In Gruntpocalypse, you can get 15 cR for ONE double kill. In multiplayer, one headshot (which is a lot harder to get) only earns you 11 cR. There's 120 Grunts so that means you can easily break 1200 cR per game. Factor in commendations and daily challenges, and you can get a good amount per day.

Hah, I really hate it when they do stuff like this. Do they really expect me to play this game for the next 10 years of my life to reach a stupid rank in a video game? No thanks.

Guess I'll have to play a million games of matchmaking to rank up.

So earlier today I was getting mad while playing rumble pit w/swf ppl because it was my first game of the day as well as the fact I wasn't used to my TV (played Reach at friends house the day before on normal TV, think my TV is one of those HDTVs, slight button lag). Later on I figure I'd try to get my xbox set up to work with HD.

Oh

My

God

My eyes couldn't believe the amazingness they saw. It was beautiful. Plus it doesn't lag my inputs anymore.

No I've had this TV for a while, ever since my aunt moved in with us (was her TV). It's had button/input lag for my xbox for a while now, I just never bothered to figure out how ot play in HD until today.

Glad I did. :D

Oh my friends family has a 49" (or 52" I can never remember which) HDTV and everytime they go away for the weekend (which they do about 10 times a year) I bring over my Xbox and we move his bedroom tv to the living room and system link the HD one and his bedroom tv together.

I got a 32 inch HD sony TV for my graduation gift, but it had some really noticeable button lag. I'm still trying to find an HD TV smaller than that one that doesn't have input lag.

I actually played in standard definition because I never thought to use my HD cables. Played that way for a good 2 years before my friend Eddie spent the night and told me. It really helps.

So far I'm loving how my actions match up right away on screen with what I press. Pretty sure it would have been more tasking to get my killtac in BTB today if I didn't switch over to HD cables.

Also got an overkill in BTB snipers on Boardwalk.

BTB is pretty fun.

Apparently there is a credit glitch you can do by constantly finishing the end of campaign levels.

My friend Zac has been doing it for a while now....I wonder if he'll get banned?

All the challenges today are easy, and related to Firefight (minus one).

Weekly Challenge is Complete 50 Rounds of Firefight.
50.
It's worth 3,000 cR though.

No you won't get banned. All you're doing is abusing the checkpoint at the end of New Alexandria when you have to land on the landing pad to finish the level. Bungie said abusing checkpoints in campaign is not bannable and is fine by them. You save and quit after the checkpoint (need scoring on), then resume your campaign and land the Falcon on the landing pad to finish the level. This helps complete the flawless cowboy (if done on heroic, recommended you do) and demon commendations. At first you'll be getting 200cr every time you finish the level but eventually gain nothing once you get to gold tier flawless cowboy and silver? tier demon.

Uhh, get half of it done abusing Gruntpocalypse in the next 2 days since they're fixing it to give less credits? :D

Sooo....hao2donewglitch? I bet it's on youtube, I'll have to go look.

Are they patching it in two days or is there yet to be an official date for the patch?

I'm not doing the assists or 3 vehicles one. Just play one game of gruntpocalypse and you get more than both of those combined.

The 50 games won't be that hard, just boring. Worth it in the end, though.

Well, I bet it'll be easy if you play FF with your friends and you help each other out. The 3 vehicles is super easy.

Sorry, I've never played Gruntpocalypse before. What is it and how do you play it?

It'll take 10 full FF games since each one has 5 waves. It's 50 waves, not games.

Yes you will get banned for that, it's called automation(?) or something like that.

Bungie said they don't mind people using the Target Locater or going Grunt firefight cause they're actually playing the game but automation is just 200 free creds without actually playing.

Edit:

Or so Jordan told me. Apparently it's on Bungie.net somewhere?

This is what you get to having currency (credits in this case) in video games. People find exploits/bugs/glitches to get massive amounts of them for little or no effort.

No, that would be 5 waves to a round, 1 round per game given the current system. So that WOULD be 50 games.

I just want some daily challenges that'll take little or no effort to do. I'm only doing them for the achievement tbh.

44/49 achievements in total

I'm waiting for a day where they have daily challenges like these:

Play 3 games of online multi-player
Kill 100 enemies in FF matchmaking (This, I can do without getting too bored)
Complete 5 online games of FF matchmaking
Survive a FF matchmaking game without dying once

That's how lazy I am when it comes to daily challenges lol.
